FORGE Ministry School FORGE is a three-year ministry school for anyone aged 16+ and runs on Monday evenings (term time). This includes all notes/workbooks and books. Want a Chat?

FORGE is a three-year ministry school (for anyone aged 16+) that runs on Monday evenings, following UK school term dates. It provides opportunities for life-shaping encounters with God, preparing disciples for Kingdom living and for the work of ministry. We aim to build a community of disciples who grow together, discovering how to serve God more effectively in all areas of life - in the home, the workplace, society, and the church environment. Each Monday evening involves talking together, attending lessons, asking questions and having group discussions. FORGE currently runs in-person only at the Empower Centre Portsmouth. Mentoring

All students will be asked to find a personal mentor who will walk with them whilst they attend FORGE. Students must be actively involved in their local church and accountable to their local church leadership. FORGE+

FORGE+ is available to FORGE students aged 18+, who are able to commit daytime hours to serve within the setting of Family Church for one year. Each student who chooses FORGE+ will have the opportunity to discuss their skills, strengths and passions, and will be directed toward relevant teams/projects that they will get involved with during the year (full details at www.family.church/forge). Fees

FORGE costs £300 per student for the year (paid £30/month or £100/term). Additional family members receive a £60 discount per year. Applications

Applications must be submitted by 31 July - so please visit the FORGE web page - www.family.church/forge - where you will find a digital copy of the prospectus as well as the online application. TONIGHT at FORGE, We started our evening with a time of worship, led by Corban.

Before breaking into 2 separate groups.
Our Years 1 Students started a brand new topic, called Emotionally Healthy Spirituality.
This course was facilitated by Gerard Pitt.
Our students spent the evening in their new Pod Groups working through Chapter 1 of EHS and the accompanying workbook.

Our Year 2 & 3 Students continued their topic; Developing Leaders, facilitated by Davina.
Who watched the video "The Five Dysfunctions A Team" by Patrick Lencioni.

Our Year 1 Students continued the topic of Identity, Henok taught both sessions this evening, on Justification and Sonship.

Our Year 2 & 3 Students continued the topic; Developing Leaders. We watched a Craig Groeschel video teaching on leadership. Ps Steuart Payne then taught the second session; “Staying In Your Lane”.

Tonight at FORGE was the first week of our academic year with all three year groups in attendance!

We started our evening with a time of worship led by Corban and Ps Steu. 

Before breaking into 2 separate groups. 
Our Year 1 Students continued the topic of Identity, taught by Gerard Pitt. 
Our Year 2 & 3 Students started a new topic; Developing Leaders, taught by Ps Steuart Payne. 

There was a real buzz tonight with students eager to learn more about God, growing in their faith. 
We are excited for what God has in store for us this year!

TONIGHT at was our first lesson of the academic year!

We started our evening with a word of encouragement from Davinia Krycler , focusing on Romans 12:1-2

Our Year 1 Students then began the topic of Identity, taught by Nathan Grant.
This is a fundamental course & the perfect topic to start our FORGE journey; because we learn WHO we now are in Christ Jesus. This truth sets the groundwork for topics that follow.

We will see you all again next Monday! Have an amazing week and God bless!
