💍 A Blessed Sunday as Church Family Celebrates Tanya & John’s Upcoming Wedding

It was a joyful and memorable Sunday at church as the congregation came together to celebrate a special announcement from the Pastor Rev A Mutanho— the upcoming wedding of one of our beloved youth member, Tanya, and her fiancé, John.

During the service, the Pastor officially announced the couple’s forthcoming wedding, which is just a few days away. The announcement was met with excitement, applause, and heartfelt joy from the church family, who warmly celebrated the couple as they prepare to begin a new chapter of their lives together.

As the big day approaches, the church family continues to stand with them in prayer, asking God to guide their steps, strengthen their relationship, and bless the home they are about to build together.

We invite everyone to join us in congratulating Tanya and John, keeping them in your prayers, and celebrating with them as they prepare to say, “I do.”

Congratulations, Tanya & John! 💍❤️ May God bless your journey into marriage and make your wedding day a truly beautiful and unforgettable celebration.

A Journey Home with Grateful Hearts

After a wonderful and memorable time at the 15th World Assembly in Auckland, New Zealand, our Golden girls from UKD and Slough begin their journey home.

They leave Auckland carrying more than memories. They return with new friendships, inspiring experiences, shared stories and a renewed sense of purpose.

Under the beautiful theme, “Arise and Shine for the Glory of God is Upon You,” they joined women from around the world in worship, fellowship, learning and celebration.

Now, as they make their way back to Slough, they bring that light and inspiration with them.

Welcome home, ladies!
Arise. Shine. Serve. And continue to let your light shine.

HARVEST CLOSURE SUNDAY 2026
As we gather for our Harvest Closure Sunday, we are not simply celebrating the end of a programme or the completion of a season. We are celebrating the journey God has brought us through to this point.

There were moments when we did not know how things would work out. There were prayers we prayed in secret, battles we fought in silence, doors that opened unexpectedly, and moments when God gave us strength to keep moving forward. Through every season, the Lord remained faithful.

We may look back and say, “It was not always easy, but God brought us here.”

Our Theme Verse

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” — Psalm 103:2

This verse calls us to remember.

As human beings, we can easily remember the problems and forget the provision. We remember the struggle but forget the strength God gave us. We remember the tears but sometimes forget the comfort. We remember what we have not received and overlook the many blessings already in our hands.

David reminds his soul: “Forget not all His benefits.”

Harvest is therefore a time of remembrance and thanksgiving.

We look back at the journey and acknowledge that every step was sustained by God’s grace. The harvest is not only about what is in our hands; it is also about recognizing the God who carried us throughout the journey.
