Today is the National Day of Prayer for Schools! 🏫✨

We are so grateful for our local community and especially for Pierrepont Gamston Primary School. Today, we are joining together across the nation to lift up every child, family, teacher, and member of staff in prayer.

Take a moment to pause and pray with us using the words in the image below as we ask for God's blessings of wisdom, hope, and joy over our school community.

"May this be a place where every child embraces wisdom, radiates love, cultivates hope and sparks wonder in the world around them."

💬 On Saturday afternoon, we hosted a roundtable discussion on the future of the Personal Independence Payment, to feed into the review being conducted by Sir Stephen Timms.

🤔 We chatted about a range of things for over two hours, from what PIP helps constituents with today, to how eligibility should be considered in the future.

Over 300 people were invited who had contacted us about PIP before - many thanks to the dozens of people who have completed surveys and the 30 or so people who joined on Saturday afternoon, including the professional sign language interpreters who were amazing! What an incredible skill. 🫡

Very grateful to our great gardening gang who turned up today to help get our outdoor area ready for our FREE COMMUNITY HOG ROAST next Saturday 12th September- a wonderful job done!

We're looking forward to welcoming all of you and there's going to be something for everyone with our cafe open too and inflatables for the kids.
