So the intense heat of this summer has passed, the grass is greening up again, the kids have started back to school, and parents and grandparents can breathe again! We hope that you have all had a good summer and are ready for a change of season.
Over the summer a lot of work has been going on at The Dales to refurbish the hall and entrance passageway. There's still a little way to go - so bear with us - but the end is in sight!
Please note that the Church Meeting originally set for Monday 7th September has been postponed and will be reorganised for a later date.
The "Space to Encounter" session for September has also been cancelled.
However, the Coffee Morning in aid of Historic Churches will still go ahead on Saturday 12th September and we hope that you can join us for this in the Quiet Room and Church, 10 am to 1 pm. There will be lots of cake, a tombola and book stall. Please pop in for a cuppa if you can!
Another date for your diary is Saturday 26th September for our Fun and Games Night, suitable for ALL ages! 7.15 pm in the Church.
Sunday 25th October will be the 40th Anniversary of the formation of The Dales Church, and we're planning a lunch celebration. Watch this space for further details.
