Saint Cyprian's Church, Nottingham We are a friendly & welcoming church offering worship - rooted in the anglo-catholic tradition - to the glory of God. ALL ARE WELCOME

Join us on Sundays at 9.30am, Tuesdays at 9.30am, and Thursdays at 7.30pm. Saint Cyprian's Church is a friendly and welcoming community situated north of Sneinton in the city of Nottingham. Our worship is offered to the glory of God and is rooted in the anglo-catholic tradition, and our prayers rise up with incense and in the sound of hymns led by our choir and organist. We are part of the Church

of England's Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, receiving pastoral care from the Bishop of Beverley, our Provincial Episcopal Visitor, our interim Priest in Charge, Fr Ian McCormack SSC, and our curate, Fr Lee Dunleavy.

We cannot thank Tim Fox at St Paul's - Boundary Road enough for his "Love Joy Peace" course. Tonight our cohort of a dozen reached week 3, and spent a profound evening meditating on and discussing Forgiveness. God was truly with us tonight, and we give thanks for being able to meet in small groups to share and love together.

Last night five of the six churchwardens of The Society churches in Nottingham (St. George’s Netherfield, St George in the Meadows, and us), alongside Father Lee, visited Southwell Minster to be sworn in for service in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham. Alas, one was on a well-earned holiday else we'd have had the full set in one photo!

Join us tomorrow (Tuesday) at 9.00am to pray the Rosary, and stay for the Mass at 9.30am. If you've not prayed the Rosary before, aim to be there at 8.50am and Fr Lee will give you an introduction and guide (and lend you some beads) ... our booklets have all the words you need on the front and back pages, and - if you find it helpful - images to help us reflect on the five themes (which tomorrow are the "Sorrowful Mysteries" ... Jesus' agony in the garden, scourging, crowning with thorns, carrying the cross, and crucifixion).
