Saint Cyprian's Church, Nottingham We are a friendly & welcoming church offering worship - rooted in the anglo-catholic tradition - to the glory of God. ALL ARE WELCOME

Join us on Sundays at 9.30am, Tuesdays at 9.30am, and Thursdays at 7.30pm. Saint Cyprian's Church is a friendly and welcoming community situated north of Sneinton in the city of Nottingham. Our worship is offered to the glory of God and is rooted in the anglo-catholic tradition, and our prayers rise up with incense and in the sound of hymns led by our choir and organist. We are part of the Church

of England's Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham, receiving pastoral care from the Bishop of Beverley, our Provincial Episcopal Visitor, our interim Priest in Charge, Fr Ian McCormack SSC, and our curate, Fr Lee Dunleavy.

Over our Curate's summer break our weekly summer Lego Church continued with bumper numbers interpreting Bible stories brick-by-brick, and we welcomed Frs Ken, Michael, and Alan (pictured here on the Assumption (note to PCC, we must get some Marian banners!)) to lead an uninterrupted programme of prayer and praise. All are welcome tomorrow (Sunday) at 9.30am when we begin our new Preaching Series - The Vision of Ephesians. Over the next few months we will do a deep dive into its treasures, working from the first word to the last. The BibleProject gives a great overview, and we have a stack of Crossway's illuminated scripture journals for our congregation. Then, after Mass, we have our final Leading your Church into Growth Local session.

What a privilege and joy it is to meet for Word and Sacrament each Sunday. Thanks be to God!

We’re so thankful for the kindness of our friends at both St Paul’s and St Cyprian’s churches for hosting our cafe and food bank while our Carlton Hub gets some much needed repairs to the ceiling 🙏🙏 The lovely prayer tree at St Cyprian’s is where prayers are offered for the wonderful community here. Why not join in and pray for someone who needs it today. We pray that God would bless them with all that they need and shower his love on them today🧡🧡🕊️🕊️

It has been a busy and beautiful week in church with new faces at all our weekday Masses, our Lego Club, busy sessions with Hope Nottingham, and a moving Funeral this afternoon. Please pray for us tomorrow as we submit our faculty application which will allow us to fundraise the final sum to improve visibility, access, insulation, and security at our main door (here's a photo of it today alongside a computer mock-up of what it will look like).
