Mae Dr Richard Weaver, ein tiwtor mewn Ymgysylltu Cymunedol, newydd gael llyfr wedi'i gyhoeddi.

Mae'r llyfr hwn yn ymchwilio i sut y gall Trefnu Cymunedol gryfhau meddwl a gweithredu Bedyddwyr dros gyfiawnder cymdeithasol. Mae hefyd yn archwilio beth all Bedyddwyr ei gyfrannu at ddealltwriaeth ac ymarfer y dull hwn ar gyfer datblygu arweinyddiaeth a gweithredu ar y cyd dros gyfiawnder cymdeithasol a'r lles cyffredin.

Dr Richard Weaver, our tutor in Community Engagement, has just had a book published.

This book investigates how Community Organising can strengthen Baptist thinking and action for social justice. It also explores what Baptists can contribute to the understanding and practice of this approach for leadership development and collective action for social justice and the common good.

For those in North Wales:
On Saturday 9th May, College principal, Rev Dr Ed Kaneen, is the speaker for the first day of the “Pathways into Christian Leadership” course. The course consists of two Saturdays (9th May and 13th June) and additional materials studying Christian Leadership. Minister at Penrallt, John Thompson is leading Day 2 drawing on experience in industry and local ministry. The module will explore various aspects of Christian leadership, including the qualities needed for Christian leadership, what it means to lead like Jesus, managing conflict in the church, leadership through change and developing new leaders.
Location is Penrallt Baptist Church, Bangor. Cost is £100 for both days. This can be taken as a stand-alone module or as part of the CBC Pathways course aimed at leaders at all levels and in all types of ministry in local churches. What an exciting journey it’s been to see 30 people complete our Pathways into Preaching module, over our two Pathways hubs. For many, today marked the very first time they preached a sermon, while others stepped out and explored a new style or approach to preaching. We give thanks to God for the women and men He is calling to share His word across Wales.
