🌿 All Saints’ Day 🌿

Tomorrow we come together to celebrate All Saints’ Day, a special day in the Church calendar when we remember and give thanks for the saints who have gone before us and the example of faith they have left behind.

All Saints’ Day also reminds us that we are all part of something greater, a community of faith that stretches across generations, united in Christ.

We warmly invite you to join us tomorrow morning for Holy Communion with Choir, as we gather in worship, prayer and thanksgiving.

🌿 Eco Church Friday: Small Changes, Big Difference 🍂

As autumn leaves begin to fall, here’s one small way we can help care for God’s creation.

🍁 Why not leave a few leaves in your garden?

Fallen leaves provide shelter for insects and other small creatures, while gradually breaking down and returning nutrients to the soil.

We don’t need to leave our gardens completely untidy. Simply keeping a few leaves beneath hedges or in quiet corners can help support wildlife through the colder months.

Small changes in our everyday lives can make a big difference when we make them together.

Join us for a quiet service to remember those we have loved and lost, with time to pause, reflect and find comfort together.

🌿 This week at All Saints Church, Rayne 🌿

It’s half term, and there’s plenty happening across our church and wider benefice this week. Here’s a little look at what’s coming up. 💚

Tuesday
🥪 Picnic in the Park

Free picnic lunches for primary-aged children and younger siblings, accompanied by an adult.

If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll move to the Old School Rooms and enjoy our picnic together! 🍂

Wednesday
🙏 Morning Prayer, 9:00am
🍞 Midweek Holy Communion, 10:00am
🔔 Bell Ringing Practice, 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Thursday
🍽️ Soup & Sandwiches in the Old School Room, with board games afterwards. No need to book, simply come along!

Saturday 🎃✨
🕯️ All Souls Service, 2:00pm
A quiet and reflective service as we remember and give thanks for those we have loved and lost.

✨ Light Party, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
With Halloween falling on Saturday, families are invited to join us for our Light Party, a fun celebration of light with activities for children and families across our Three Churches benefice.

⛪ Holy Communion with Choir, 9:30am
🌿 Time to Be, 4:00pm

Two different opportunities to join us for worship, including the quieter and reflective space of Time to Be in the afternoon.

The church is also open every day from 8:00am to 4:00pm for a quiet moment, prayer, or simply a bit of peace.

🌿 Eco Church Friday: Small Changes, Big Difference ♻️

Caring for God’s creation doesn’t stop at the church gates. There are little things we can all do in our everyday lives to help protect our environment.

👕 Have you considered buying second-hand clothes?

Apps like Vinted and our local charity shops are great ways to give pre-loved clothes a new home.

Something that one person no longer needs could be just what someone else is looking for!

By choosing second-hand, we can help reduce waste, make better use of resources and give clothes a longer life. And we might even save a little money along the way!

As part of our Eco Church journey, we’d love to encourage everyone to think about the small changes we can make together.
