Good morning!
We have been totally distracted today by the Peacock visiting the village! Last spotted enjoying a wander around the car park and green outside the hall although disappeared from view by the time we got the camera
It has of course inspired us with a long overdue
📣📣Fact Of The Day!📣📣
Did you know...Only the male bird is called a peacock.
The female bird is called a peahen.
The baby bird is called a peachick.
Bonus ...
A peacocks train (tail) can grow up to 6 feet long, making up more than half the bird's body length.
Peahens have brown, gray, and green feathers so they can hide easily in the grass when protecting their eggs.
There you go.
So church is open all day for you. The grass is a bit damp and muddy so if you're planning a visit bear that in mind!
Have a fantastic day and we'll catch up later!
