God is powerful!
King Herod was persecuting followers of Jesus and Peter was arrested. The night before his trial, Peter was woken up by an angel of the Lord and freed from prison. He went to the house where many believers were praying for him. They were amazed when Peter shared how the Lord rescued him!

Do you have a story of God doing something powerful in your life?

God Seeks us out!
An angel instructed Philip to travel a desert road where he encountered an Ethiopian official reading the book of Isaiah. The Holy Spirit guided Philip to approach the man, who invited him to explain the Scripture. After hearing about Jesus, the official believed and asked to be baptized. The Ethiopian man continued his journey, rejoicing. Up to this point, most people who had heard and believed God’s message were God’s people, the Jews. But God had told His followers in Acts 1:8 that His message was to be shared with people all over the world. When Jesus died on the cross, He died for the sins of all people of every nation, race and ethnicity. He is the same Lord over all and is ready to save all who call on Jesus for salvation. We can share this good news with everyone everywhere!

This month we'll be exploring how God is in control over everything! In our story this week we saw the early church learn that God’s way is best!
When we choose to do things our way instead of God’s way, that is sin. And sin always has consequences. In fact, Romans 6:23 teaches us that the ultimate consequence of sin is death. But that is why Jesus came. God loves us too much to leave us in our sin. When Jesus died on the cross, He took our punishment. When we trust in Him, we can be forgiven. Then the Holy Spirit will live in us and help us to learn to live God’s way.

It's almost time to gather to Refresh our vision for NLCC Kids across our 4 campuses! If you volunteer in any kids ministry program at your campus, you're invited to join us this Saturday morning at Walnut Grove.

This is not a 'how to' morning, but a chance to remember our 'why'!

This month’s free download is called Spring Break Family Bingo! ✨

These prompts don’t create new time; they awaken purpose in the time you already have this month. Start with one square. Follow the conversation or moment where it leads.

Each square creates a small opening to:
* Talk about God naturally
* Serve together with joy
* Encourage one another
* Practice generosity
* Strengthen connection

Let faith grow right in the middle of Spring Break. One intentional week can shape habits your family carries long after vacation ends.

⛪️ For ministry leaders, this is an easy way to equip families before Spring Break begins. A simple download. A practical tool. A gentle nudge toward intention.

🏡 For parents, this isn’t about squeezing one more thing into an already full week. It’s about identifying and redeeming the moments that are already waiting for you.

Comment “Spring Break” for the PDF download! 💬
