CLA Kids is a ministry to family life. We seek to reach the hearts of children by caring for the whole family.

It is our goal through child centred programming to encourage children to grow in body, soul, mind and spirit, so they can know God fully.

Tomorrow is Family Sunday!

In honor of Sunbeam and to celebrate their 50th anniversary all children in grades K - 5 will join their families in the service.

Preschool classrooms and the Nursery will remain open.

Following each service Sunbeam will be serving light refreshments in the conference hall. All are welcome to join and celebrate what God has done in the last 50 years. We look forward to seeing you there!

This Thursday we are thankful for Jonah!

Jonah is one of the High School Pastors at our Langley campus and faithfully serves in many areas on Sunday mornings — including CLA Kids Church! We are so grateful for the energy, joy, and enthusiasm he brings to our elementary spaces each week. Jonah is always willing to jump in and teach, and through intentional conversations, prayer, and active participation in every lesson, he consistently reflects the love of Jesus to each child he connects with.

Jonah, thank you for your consistency and passion for the next generation. We are so thankful for you and the impact you make as a dedicated CLA Kids volunteer!

This Thursday we are thankful for April!

I don't think there is anyone who is as buoyant as April. She shows up EVERY Sunday, smiling and ready. No wonder babies fall asleep in her arms, and children run to hug her in the hallway. She simply cares about kids and has a gifting to be present with them and their families. Thank you April for all you do. You make our team better.🙌

Today, CLA Kids is thankful for Tristan Phommaviset!

Tristan faithfully helps behind the scenes running tech and also helps in the Grade 5 room. He always brings such a calm and welcoming presence and his big smile, kindness, and thoughtful heart make a huge impact on the kids and leaders around him. We love the creative and fun ways he connects with the Grade 5 kids and helps make church a place where they feel seen, valued, and excited to be. Thank you, Tristan, for serving so faithfully and making a difference every week. We appreciate you so much!

This Thursday we are thankful for Ashley!

Ashley serves so faithfully in Kids Ministry as our Elementary school helper and also on our set up team. She shows up with a willing heart, a great attitude and such a love for our kids and our church family.
We are so thankful not just for Ashley but for her whole crew. Her husband Emanuel and sweet son Dezzy who are such a blessing too. Ashley, you
are seen, loved and deeply appreciated. Thank you for serving so selflessly and being such an incredible part of our team 💕

This Thursday, we're thankful for Christina Segundo!

This Monday, April 13th, is Christina's one year anniversary of serving with CLA Kids! Christina, we have been blessed by your heart for serving. Christina is a caring, invested, and faithful volunteer. Christina serves once a month in the nursery and always willing to step in whenever help is needed! Christina has such a gift for connecting with young children and loves our preschoolers so well.
Christina, thank you for the joy and love you bring to the nursery! We appreciate you so much!

Today CLA Kids is thankful for Jesse and Yuli. These ladies are sisters and both warmly gift their presence to the elementary children (Jesse) and the preschool children (Yuli) with faithfulness and generosity. As we have gotten to know these ladies, their love for Jesus and their joy is more and more evident. There is a playfulness about them that is paired with a knowledge of Scripture and the evidence of a disciplined life of prayer. Thank you for being a part of our team -- we're a stronger team with you on it!

This coming Sunday is Family Sunday! 🌴It is also Palm Sunday, and your children will be participating in a special presentation at the beginning of the service before they join you at your seats.

Arrival Times for the Langley Campus:
Elementary: 8:30 AM or 10:30 AM
Preschool: 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM

All children at the 9 AM or 11 AM service will take part in the presentation.

Today, we are thankful for Kaliah So!

Kaliah brings so much joy wherever she goes—she’s always smiling and uplifting those around her. One of the things that stands out most is her playful and caring spirit. I remember a moment when she was running around, laughing and playing with the younger kids, making them feel included and happy. It’s such a beautiful reflection of her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others.
