Message: Called to dispel darkness
Preacher: Evangelist Sharpe.
Main scripture, Isaiah 60:1-

Darkness can’t be dispelled by anything. We can have it all but when darkness has covered the people, nothing can be done.

Darkness is expressed in the Bible as the absence of godliness.

Isaiah 60:1-4
God from the beginning had a plan for the redemption of man, and through the prophet Isaiah, He began to reveal that there’s something that is coming.

Isaiah talks about gross darkness and how the hearts of the people will change to be evil. You’re the one that God is banking on, to deal with this darkness.

It is not just enough to sin these days, you must go further and deeper, it’s not enough to cheat on your wife, go ahead and kill her. This is what the gross darkness is talking about.

The world is a system in which evil reigns and the devil is the leader of that system. It controls the people who don’t have Jesus in their hearts. The reason that they regret the consequences, it’s a sign that they’re under control.

The is calling upon a certain people to arise. The call to arise is to get out of obscurity. The only remedy to darkness is what is inside of you. God is moving among His people and He is searching for someone, that is you.

The Bible says that this light is yours, the glory is inside of you, you’re a child of God. This light isn’t just for yourself, it’s the solution to the darkness of the earth.

When God wants to redeem a people, He raises someone, to arise and uncover themselves and say “Lord use me”. God wants someone whom He can demonstrate His power.

When the people of light begin to occupy the earth, darkness will automatically go away.
If you’re in a place and you’re the only one holding onto the principle, it might be in your family, society, anywhere in your village; hold on because you’re the light.

John 17:14-16, A child of God must arise to the realization that there is Christ and He is the light. Do not compromise, families need people who are born of God, who will take them out of darkness. You’re the change factor.

The church of today is still in slumber, the standards of the world are the standards of the church. The values and principles of the world have been adopted in the church. The devil will recruit you, and deceive you, the moment you give in, people will start to mock your God.

Isaiah 60:2,”Behold”, is a word that says there’s a transition in the ways things have been going.
This darkness is mentioned by Paul in 2Timothy 3:1-4, Paul says perilous times shall come, but it’s the people of darkness who will define these perilous times.

Perilous times are here, this is the state of our current times. The children of God will define His godliness in these times. You’re the magnet that God Has thrown on the earth. The life of holiness will be attractive to the people of the earth.

In the generation that you’re living in, there’s a purpose for you. Jesus is the light that Has made you to be that light. When things around you aren’t adding up, hold on and look at Jesus, the light.

It is high time you rise up for God, you’ve been trying to rise up for your career, for your finances and all that concerns you. When you arise for God, He perfects all that is around you, because the light will go before you.

Emancipate from a position of togetherness with darkness. It may be a darkness of drunkenness, economic frustrations, FMD affecting the nation. You can’t afford to be a person filled with the light and yet being a friend to the world.

It doesn’t matter what the world offers you, it might be promotions and tenders with conditions. Child of God walk away when you see the traces of evil. When you walk in darkness, you’re extinguishing the light in you.

The redemption work of Jesus Christ spoken by Isaiah, is Jesus, the light that is in you.

Message: Can you handle higher?
Preacher: Dr.M.Phuthego

Main scripture,Mark 9:2

Many of us want to go higher. When you talk about higher it’s important to understand altitude, the Atmosphere changes.

At elevated levels, there’s less oxygen, and as you go up with less oxygen, you might experience headaches, suffocation. Higher levels demand greater oxygen.

If you go higher and you’re immature in character, you’ll suffocate.
A lot of times God wants to take us higher, but our bodies haven’t adjusted to those levels.

Elevation without preparation can lead to suffocation. The higher you go, the difficult it is to breathe.

There’s an atmosphere attached to every blessing.
Some of us get envious of people as they transcend through levels, not knowing that they face challenges, demons, battles which are at that level.

If you need to go to a higher level, you need necessary preparation. Most of us have suffocated at the levels which we prayed for, because you didn’t have the capacity to handle the battles for that level.

Premature elevation can lead to destruction. Your talent can take you to a higher level, but character keeps you there.

In the main text, Peter takes 3 disciples with Him.
Every time Jesus went higher, He reduced the number of disciples He went with. This is a lesson to us that you can’t take most people with you to a place of elevation.

God Has a tendency of reducing numbers when you go up, because too many whispers will drown the voice of God.

When there’s too many people in the group, it might appear like human effort.

The mature you get, ambitions will lead you, resume building will lead you, chain money will lead you, but as you mature, you’ll learn that maturity that isn’t led by Christ isn’t worth it.

You can go higher professionally, and lower spiritually if Jesus isn’t leading. You can go higher publicly but lower privately if Jesus isn’t leading.

Not every ascend is an advancement. You only advance when He is leading.

What happens when God takes you higher?
1. Higher reveals a new dimension of God’s glory.
Jesus goes through a change when He took the 3 disciples on the mountain. The first thing they experienced was transfigured.

Going higher according to us means change in “me”. “take me higher so that I can get a bigger house”. The change at the mountain had nothing to do with the disciples. Jesus did not change, He was still divine, nothing in His essence changed.

The disciples were permitted to see the dimension of Jesus that they had not seen before. The higher God takes us, the more He wants to see us experience Him differently.

2. Higher will remove our dependence on the earthly.
Mark 9:3, sometimes God takes you higher in order to show you something that’s beyond human capacity.

There are dimensions in your life that your education, strategy, won’t be enough. The higher God takes you, the more of your dependency on Him.

There are solutions in God, as you go higher with Him, allow yourself to go higher with God. There are things in God that only He can help you with.

3. Going higher with God will redefine your description of prosperity.
Mark 9:5, Peter sees the glory of God and says, “we need to build something”. He goes from glory to estate. This is what we do most times,When we experience the spiritual, we want to materialize it.

When the Lord takes us higher, it’s not about us. You can’t have more without going higher. Never measure your altitude by your accumulation. Accumulation doesn’t equate the glory of God.

The glory of God must draw you nearer to God. You need to become a better Ambassador for Him. The response to the glory of God is repentance,to thirst, hunger and long for Him.

4. Higher will reduce your vocabulary.
Mark 6:9, Maturity teaches us that sometimes you don’t have the answer, you don’t have an opinion.
Peter didn’t have anything to say yet he still spoke.

Being taken higher is to correct us. Sometimes your gift can get you through the door, but your mouth will take you outside of that same door.

Going up higher is about hearing Him. Do less speaking and hear more. When God takes you higher, He wants to improve your hearing. He puts a system of discernment in us.

For you to prepare for elevation:
1. Embrace the obscurity of your current situation.
Many of us like early exposure, and that causes ruin.
2. Value private victories over public applause.
David had no one applaud for him when he faced the bear and the lion.
3. Let your character grow faster than your platform.
Develop your character, without it you crash down.
4. Trust God’s timing more than your ambition.

Can you handle going higher?

Message: The vital force of the word
Preacher: Elder R.Masweu

Main scriptures, Mark 4:26-
Genesis 1:11-12

In China currently the preaching of the word isn’t allowed. Therr are pastors who have taken the risk of sharing the word at night.

The word is important to all of us.
The farmer sleeps and wakes up, he puts not much effort into the seed growing.

The restoration of our dominion to God.
Dying to self
The heart.

1. The Restoration of our dominion to God.
The way you were born again, youre the Gospel, you heard the word and it got into your heart. Some of us were critics and communists, but we heard the word. All the reasons that you heard evaporated and the word bypassed your mind and hit in the right place, and began to sprout.

Sometimes we get both dramatically and we don’t move on to the spects of life. And some can be in church holding on to a form of godliness. God spoke a word to you and you became a Christian.

Once the sower has put the seed in the ground, the process becomes automatic. What he needs is the patience for it to grow. The farmer doesn’t have to go to the seed now and then to check if it’s growing or not. He sleeps.

The power for you to be both again came from God. Your step was faith, the same way the farmer waits, we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.

2. Die to self
Things that kill Christians, slothfulness, sexual immorality. It’s important to continue the process of growth through the word. You can be an heir but if you’re a child, you’re as good as a slave. It’s important to die to self.

Paul was one of the people who died to self, he went around persecuting Christians. He was an extremist. He had to die to his past, there was evidence in his life that he was once a murderer.

Galatians 1:16, After Paul was struck by lightning on his way to Damascus, God revealed Himself to him, hence he could die to self. Had he not, he was going to be condemned throughout.

Paul went to the desert, to die to self. We must die to self in order to have resurrection, Jesus had to die in order for resurrection to take place.

2 Peter 3:16

If you don’t die to self, it will be difficult to attain a higher authority in the spirit. The very same way you were saved, you’ll have the confidence that you’ve been forgiven. The confidence comes from the spirit.

For you to die to self, it must go beyond your mind.
Luke 4:1- In this text, Jesus was going through temptations, he went to a secluded place to work on Himself. After He returned he started preaching the gospel and healing the sick,

Legalism cannot satisfy your heart.
Matthew 8:8, The word has the power to create. We need to plant this seed in our hearts. The design of God is that we must live from the heart.

Mark 1:22-25, Jesus is still talking about authority, and the people were amazed. You can communicate the truth, recite the verse without authority.

Acts 3:6, The word has force, your spirit has to break out of the flesh.

Paul went into a secluded place and came back different because he soaked in the word.

3. The heart.
It’s important to cultivate the heart. All the minerals we will ever need are under the earth. In your spirit, you have everything you’ll ever need. What you need is to take the seed, and sow it.

There’s force in this word, just give it a chance. The word has power but it has to become a revelation to you.

Acts 4:12-
Peter preached the word, the threats did not stop them. The prayers were ongoing.

Message: Manifesting divine influence
⁃ Becoming God’s instrument for Kingdom impact.
Preacher: Pastor Mathule

Main scripture, Matthew 5:13-16

As we reach out to others, we can’t influence them with what we don’t have. A believer who isn’t influenced can’t influence others. You can’t make an impact when you aren’t influenced.

Matthew 5:13-16(msg version), People can taste godliness because of us. You are destined to show forth light.

God is not a secret to be kept, people must know that you’re a believer. God is too big to remain hidden, you can’t afford to have your life as a secret. People must know the values, the principles and the rules that you stand for.

We are in church to be empowered as soldiers. When a believer is genuinely influenced by God, it becomes evident, in character, in wisdom, in attitude, in your relationships. They don’t shy away to become public with what they have purposed in their hearts.

Genesis 1:26, from the beginning of creation, God made us to be influential. Allow God to chisel your behavior and character, so that His behavior becomes His expression in you.

Men and women of influence are those ready to step up in stewardship, subject yourself to the making of God.

How do you manifest divine influence?
1. Find your place in God’s prophetic programme.
If you don’t, you become irrelevant and useless. You might see yourself doing the right thing at the wrong time.

Esther 4:14, God plants you in a certain place for divine manifestation. As a believer, when God emphasizes church growth like now, jump into the prophetic programme. You can’t afford to be a spectator, take your place.

You can’t manifest divine influence until you discover where your life fits in God’s agenda.
Esther was positioned for Kingdom assignment hence her influence.

2. Understand and align with God’s emphasis for your season.
God Has times and seasons in His hands. What is God saying about your career in an economy like this? There’s no season that can escape the prophetic moment of God.

Every season carries a spiritual moment. We can’t afford to do anything anyhow. Daniel purposed not to eat the king’s delicacies, he knew that his God was meant to be public.

3. Build a life encoded with the word of God.
Psalm 119:105,
The word of God gives you divine formation. The word of God must move from your Bible to your heart and conduct. The word must govern your living, not only your preaching.

Message: Young and boldly serving the Lord
Preacher: Brother Pako.

Main scripture, 1 Timothy

What is it that you’re doing as a parent to provide the best resources to serve God?
David encouraged Solomon to get the best materials for him to build the temple of God.

Serving God has some benefits, it adds value to you.
The Benefits of serving God:
1. God will heal you. Exodus 23:25, • Long life, Psalm 91:16, • Prosperity, John 36:11
2. He will redeem you from destruction, Psalm 3:1-2
Satan brings destruction by demonic whispers meant to discourage you to serve God.

There are sufferings of the anointing. Problems come to accelerate you, not to pull you down.

Isaiah 65:12-13, Failure to serve God can make you experience shame, financial shame.

There are sufferings that come because you don’t serve God and also those that come because you do. Job lost his all, but He never gave up on God, he served God despite losing everything. Job was a faithful servant.

Some of the struggles are a test, whether you’re a faithful servant or not. Job recovered even more after all the losses.

Young people, the world will call you to bring you down, but there’s a blessing waiting for you, choose to serve God. The key to unlocking the blessing comes by serving God.

3. God will go before you.
Sometimes there’s a lot of confusion in your life, as a result of not serving Him. You can serve God without loving Him but you can’t live Him and not serve Him.

Isaiah 45:2-4, God straightens every crooked places for you. It may be your finances or any part of your life.

God is waiting for us to serve Him so that He can pour Himself unto us. We can’t get the fullness of God without giving Him our all in service.

When God goes before you, your battles become His.
In this journey you might feel like giving up. Elijah at some point was afraid of Jezebel and scared, God instructed the ravens to feed him.

God Has brought that season of dryness in your life so that you can be a stream. God uses you to bring deliverance.

Maybe your failures are as a result of not serving God. Desire to be a minister of God, a flame of fire.

Serve the Lord diligently, He will provide for you.
