IS IT OKAY TO MAKE PROFIT AS A CHRISTIAN?
It certainly is. Contrary to the opinion of some, there is no biblical admonition against making a profit. If a business cannot generate profit it will fail, and its ministry to the employees and customers will cease. Christians in business -employer and employee alike-should work to maximise profits, but never by sacrificing the other principles of a Biblically based Business. An employer must not maximise profits by under-paying employees or by dishonestly representing products or services to customers.

It is important to note that God will not mix with those who don't walk by His standards of integrity and righteousness in their business dealings. Whether they call themselves Christians or not. If they won't walk in His standards of integrity they don't want God involved in their business. But we can create the atmosphere for His presence by integrity in our business dealings, times of worship then He will be fully engaged with us in the Marketplace, establishing and prospering our businesses so we advance His kingdom.
Proverbs 11:1 God hates cheating in the marketplace; he loves it when business is aboveboard. (MSG).

Occupy till I come, He said..
Jesus said we must do business, do it his way, occupy the marketplace till he comes. As Christians we must be Christian Entrepreneurs and Business CEO's who align the purpose and profit of our businesses to create Kingdom impact, making a positive impact and transforming lives to the glory of God. We are to build our businesses with one purpose only, to glorify his name and draw many to his kingdom. The totality of the operations of our businesses must be regulated along the principles of Biblical character and doctrine for a profitable business, for a greater cause, to advance his kingdom. Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad... Zech1:17
