Our dear Sister. Gomolemo Malebjwe led us powerfully in a moment of prayer and intercession as we stood in the gap for the nation of Botswana and the whole world. We are confident that if there is a man to pray there is a God to answer.

Sis. Nametso Magabu shared a powerful Message of the Week written by our Lead Pastor, Dr. Godwill Gulubane, titled:

“Let Your Words Always Be Gracious” (Colossians 4:6)

Words carry tremendous power. They can heal or hurt, build up or tear down, unite or divide. As believers, we are called to ensure that our speech is always filled with grace, wisdom, and love.

The message reminded us that not every thought should be spoken. Our words must first pass through the filter of God’s Word, especially during moments of heightened emotions. Once words are released, they cannot be taken back.

Just as the Psalmist prayed, “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth” (Psalm 141:3), we too should ask God to help us speak words that bring healing, encouragement, hope, and peace to others.

May our speech always honour God and be used to impart life wherever we go.

Today at Vibrant Worship Centre, our Lead Pastor, Dr. Godwill Gulubane, shared a powerful message titled “Boldness in God’s Presence.”

Many believers approach God with fear, guilt, condemnation, or a sense of unworthiness. Yet through Jesus Christ, we have been invited into God’s presence, given access through His blood, assured that we belong, and called to dwell continually in His presence.

We learnt that:

• God has personally invited us to come to Him.
• Jesus Christ has made a way for us to approach the Father.
• There is room for us in God’s presence as sons and daughters.
• God’s presence is not merely a place to visit but our dwelling place.

The invitation has been sent. The way has been opened. The room has been prepared. And the Father is waiting.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace.” — Hebrews 4:16

THEME: LET YOUR WORDS ALWAYS BE GRACIOUS

Opening Scripture:

“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
Colossians 4:6 NKJV

Words have the power to heal or to inflict pain. Words have the power to kill or to give life. Words have the power to tear down or to build up. Words have the power to gather or to scatter. Through both written and spoken words, God has placed tremendous power at our disposal.

Relationships are started through words, and relationships have also ended through words. Nations and kingdoms have been torn down through words, while others have been strengthened and established through words. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 18:21 that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Every day, we are releasing either life or death through the words we speak.

However, the fact that you can speak your mind does not mean that you should say everything that comes to mind. Every thought should first be filtered through God’s Word before it is released for others to hear. Be especially careful when your emotions are heightened. Many regrettable words have been spoken in moments of anger, excitement, frustration, or sadness. One thing about words is that once they have been released, they cannot be retrieved. The wounds caused by careless words can take years to heal.

The Psalmist understood the power of words and therefore prayed, “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips” (Psalm 141:3 NKJV). By asking God to set a watch over his lips, he was asking God to act as a guard, preventing harmful, careless, and destructive words from escaping his mouth. God’s desire is that our speech should always be gracious, uplifting, and edifying. Let your words bring healing where there is pain, hope where there is despair, encouragement where there is discouragement, and peace where there is conflict. May your speech always be seasoned with grace and used as a tool to build others rather than tear them down.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, I surrender my tongue and my words to You. Set a watch over my lips and help me to speak words that honour You. Deliver me from careless, hurtful, and destructive speech. Fill my heart with Your love so that my words may bring healing, encouragement, wisdom, and life to those around me. Let my speech always be gracious and seasoned with salt. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

SERMON TITLE: I AM A WITNESS
By: Deacon Tonny

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). Jesus Christ did not call us to be mere arguers of the gospel, but witnesses. A witness speaks from personal encounter, from what they have seen, heard, experienced, and known for themselves. There is a difference between talking about Jesus and revealing Jesus.

Before ascending to the Father, Jesus instructed His disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. Why? Because Jesus knew that words alone would not be enough. The disciples needed the empowerment of the Holy Spirit so that their lives would carry evidence of Jesus Christ they proclaimed. The Kingdom of God is not in word but in power” (1 Corinthians 4:20). Their witness needed fire. Their witness needed power. Their witness needed the presence of God backing it.

A true witness is born in the place of prayer, in the place of tarrying before God. When a man has truly encountered Jesus Christ, he cannot remain the same. Just like the Samaritan woman in John 4, after her encounter with Jesus, she ran to tell others, and many came to believe because of her testimony. When you genuinely carry Christ, your life ignites a hunger for God in others. People begin to see Jesus Christ through you. Your words carry conviction because your life carries evidence.

Today, the Lord is asking us: where is your Jerusalem? Your Jerusalem is your family, your friends, your school, your workplace, your neighborhood, your surroundings. Before reaching Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth, start where God has placed you. Be a witness there. Let people encounter Christ through your character, your love, your speech, your faith, your prayers, and your lifestyle.

This generation does not just need people who can talk about God; it needs men and women who have tarried long enough to reveal Him. Men and women whose secret place has become their source of power. Men and women who burn with the fire of the Holy Spirit and carry the fragrance of Christ everywhere they go. May we not become Christians who only speak of Him with our lips while our lives deny Him. May we become true witnesses. Witnesses who carry the power, character and presence of God.

May our encounters with God become encounters that transform nations in the name of Jesus Christ.

THEME: BECOME A FOUNTAIN OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Opening Scripture:
“But exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘Today,’ lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”
Hebrews 3 verse 13 NKJV

We live in a world full of despair, discouragement, frustration, and pain. Many people are silently carrying emotional wounds, disappointments, and burdens that have drained their strength and hope. Very few still have the determination to press on after repeated failure and recurrent setbacks. If there is one thing the world desperately needs today, it is encouragement.

Doubt and unbelief have filled the hearts of many people, causing them to lose faith and hope for a better tomorrow. This is why Jesus asked in Luke 18 verse 8 NKJV, “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” The reality is that many people are weary and discouraged, and some are on the verge of giving up completely. This is why believers must become carriers of hope and encouragement in a dark and broken world.

The opening scripture instructs us to exhort one another daily. To exhort means to encourage, strengthen, uplift, and inspire one another continually, especially as we see the return of Jesus Christ approaching. You may not always have money or material things to give, but one of the greatest gifts you can share with others is encouragement in the Lord. A timely word, a prayer, a scripture, or simple acts of kindness can lift someone who is drowning in discouragement.

Encourage your family members in the Lord. Encourage yourself in the Lord. Encourage those you meet daily and even those you interact with on social media. Become intentional about speaking life, hope, and faith into others. When you become a fountain of encouragement, you become a beacon of hope in a world filled with despair and unbelief. Never underestimate the power of your words because your encouragement may be the very thing that keeps someone from giving up.

Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, make me a fountain of encouragement to others. Help me to speak words that heal, uplift, strengthen, and inspire. Deliver me from negativity, hopelessness, and discouragement. Fill my heart with compassion and sensitivity towards those who are struggling. Use my life, my words, and my actions to bring hope to others and to point many people back to You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The man of God, our Senior Pastor Dr Godwill Gulubane, reminded the congregation to always reverence, honour, and have deep awareness of the sovereignty of God. It was a heartfelt reminder that it is possible to be physically present in church while our hearts and minds are distracted by many other things, causing us to miss precious doings of the Lord.

The house of the Lord is not an ordinary place. It is a place of encounter, transformation, worship, and fellowship with God. As believers, we should approach His presence with attentiveness, humility, and sincerity, recognising that we stand before the King of kings. May we not allow familiarity to take away the honour and reverence due to God In the name of Jesus Christ.

EVERYTHING BELONGS TO GOD
Sermon By: Deacon Tonny

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. Every soul, every life belongs to Him. Humanity was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), yet through sin, mankind became separated from Him. Scripture reminds us that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Still, God’s desire remains unchanged that his people return to Him.

One thing that stands out throughout Scripture is the heart of God for the lost. In Luke 15, Jesus shares the parable of the lost sheep. A good shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one that is missing. When he finds it, he does not beat it or condemn it, but lovingly carries it on his shoulders back to safety, and there is rejoicing. What a beautiful picture of God’s love and mercy toward humanity. God does not abandon people simply because they have gone astray. He seeks them with love, compassion, and restoration in mind.

The parable of the lost coin in Luke 15:8–10 also teaches us something important about intentionality in soul winning. The woman lit a lamp and searched carefully until she found the lost coin. In the same way, as believers, we cannot approach soul winning casually or carelessly. We need the light of God’s Word and the help of the Holy Spirit. Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” It is the Word of God that gives direction, wisdom, conviction, and understanding. We do not rely on our own strength, knowledge, or human ability, but on God, who enables us to minister effectively to others. The parable of the prodigal son further reveals the heart of the Father. Even after rebellion and waywardness, the father waited with expectation and received his son with love when he returned. This reminds us that God still welcomes those who come back to Him genuinely and wholeheartedly.

As Christians, we are called to be passionate about fulfilling the mission of God. Soul winning is not merely an activity; it is the heartbeat of the Father. However, we must guard our hearts and motives. We are not called to approach people with pride, condemnation, or the mindset of the Pharisees, who looked down on others while ignoring their own spiritual condition. We go out to bring transformation through Christ, not to conform to the world around us. is why it is important to remain spiritually fortified. Be grounded in prayer. Be rooted in the Word of God. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Let your relationship with God remain alive and on fire, so that when you go out, you are influencing others through Christ in you, rather than being influenced away from Him.

May we never lose compassion for souls. May we never become too comfortable while people around us are hurting, lost, and searching for hope. Everything belongs to God, and may we remain willing vessels committed to bringing His children back to Him through love, truth, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
