Today, the Sunday services at Gates of Salvation Church began on a unique and uplifting note as the brethren filled the atmosphere with heartfelt prayers, resounding hallelujahs, and worship lifted to the Creator. Together, they joined the saints in honoring the enduring legacy of Prophet T.B. Joshua, whose impact continues to speak volumes. The atmosphere was charged with the glory of God as the congregation, in one accord, paid a befitting tribute in celebration of a life poured out in service to God and humanity. Under the check and conduct of the Holy Spirit, Evangelist Tshepo graced the altar to raise awareness on the subject of salvation and perseverance.

His able servant emphasized that we ought to take advantage of this cloud of witness as it did not just appear but appeared on purpose and this cloud refers to the evidence of men and women of faith such as Abraham, Moses, Isaac and all the heroes and heroines of faith as testimonies of a cloud of witnesses! For instance, the Bible depicts Abraham as a father of faith, Moses parted the red sea, but they and other patriarchs of faith from the Bible never had anyone as their point of reference but we, Christians of today, have them as a point of reference. A testament that indeed we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses! It is important to note that this cloud of witnesses was meant to silence our weaknesses which are a door-way that leads to wickedness.
The scripture further emphasizes and encourages that we should throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. In simple terms, this is to say, we should do away with sin as we have enough evidence that there is God and doing away with sin brethren entirely lies on your personal decision. In addition, you ought to fix your eyes on Jesus so that you can be able to run your race with perseverance. However, it important to note that you cannot persevere in the absence of Jesus because the race of salvation demands focus and the right way to do so is in you giving Jesus your maximum attention. Without Him, you are bound to fail the race. How you run your race determines your end beyond your departure point and when you run the race with Jesus, your exit will be a blessing. Take note, we all enter into eternity but to different destinations (eternal life or eternal pain) and this is definitely determined by how you run your race! Therefore, Jesus must be the only motivation you need for the salvation of your soul. If you have happened to have found Him, do not lose sight of Him in both good and bad times alike because your loyalty to Christ will some day stand before Him as your lawyer (advocate). If you are intentional about your loyalty to Christ, you have to go through your trial with integrity. A testament, that an authentic faith is a tested faith, a genuine salvation is a tested salvation and an authentic integrity is a tested integrity!
βOn that note, I urge you brethren, no matter what happens to you in life, never remove your eyes from Jesus. Your value before Him has nothing to do with your material possessions but the content of your character and this is what you must labour for! Remember, for you to sign out of this world (depart) with integrity, you must have lived a well-intact life in relation to the Word,β Evangelist Tshepo explained.
