God continues to use Evangelist Tshepo to keep the flame of His Word burning brightly and in today’s sermon, His able servant sounded a clarion call and arose an understanding to the church with regards to their calling as Christians. He stated that as children of God, we are called to imitate Jesus in both character and conduct because only He possesses the standard character and conduct of a genuine Christian. These (character and conduct) are but a true reflection of man’s heart (spirit man). Evangelist Tshepo further highlighted that we can only possess a Christ-like character when our hearts are inclined to Him through His Word where the character of God is embedded. Drawing inspiration from the scripture, Evangelist Tshepo emphasized that when your heart, as one who profess to be of God, is inclined to the Word then your life is leaning on Christ. β€œIt is God’s desire that we grow in character as it glorifies Him. However, you can only grow in character as long as you abide in Him because He can only convict a heart that is saturated with the Word. In simple terms, the Holy Ghost cannot change one’s character in the absence of the Word. The more you are exposed to God’s word, the more you understand the very Word and become familiar with the voice of God. Moreover, it is worth-highlighting that the best part of Christianity is in one being exposed to the Word, where the heart gets reformed in character, conduct and lifestyle. It is also important to note that a heart with good character becomes a safe haven for the Holy Spirit to abide in.

Therefore, it is very important for one to bear in mind that it is not all about the amount of material possessions they amass under the sun but the amount of a Christ-like character they possess that matters. Brethren, a Christ-like character matters the most because it is a goal for all those who are concerned about life beyond the sun; they are being intentional about spending eternity with Christ for they know that Heaven is for those who possess the character and conduct of Christ. Remember; your character is what characterizes you as a Christian,” explained Evangelist Tshepo as he brought his God-inspired revelation to a close.
