Church This Sunday November 1st
Dear brothers and sisters
Are you comfortable with the idea that you BELONG to God? The whole world and everyone in it belongs to Him by virtue of the fact that He CREATED it (something that a rebellious runaway world does not want to acknowledge). But for those of us who have believed the Gospel, we are His all over again, by virtue of His redemption. - He bought us back!
Is that a form of slavery or glorious liberty?Join us at 10.30 for worship and fellowship around God's Word.

Church This Sunday Oct 25th
Greetings my dear brothers and sisters. 🤗💞
What is a pastor's role? How much does it just entail teaching the scripture? Are all pastors teachers and are all teachers pastors?
The scriptures explain that pastors are to teach by example as well.
And teaching is not just the imparting of head knowledge but also admonishes and encourages the hearers to apply and obey what they are taught.
Then all of this is to take place in the context of a loving and caring relationship.
Do these principles still apply in today's consumer-driven culture, where we can all just shop around till we find a church that we like?
Join us this Sunday at 10.30 for worship, and a time around God's Word and followed by fellowship over LUNCH.
Bring a plate if you can.

Church This Sunday October 11th
Greetings dear brothers and sisters 🤗🥰

Not all of the prophets were sent to Israel. Two of them were sent to Israel's mortal enemy, the Assyrians . One of them, Jonah, the reluctant prophet, bore them good news but 140 years later Nahum pronounced upon them God's final judgement. They had it coming!! 😮🥹
Jonah's story teaches us much about obedience, the sovereignty of God, and our need to have on our hearts what God has on His heart, the plight of the lost.
Join us at 10.30 for worship and fellowship around God's word.
WARNING: A big fun run this weekend will lead to road closures around the city. Please consider your best possible transport / parking option. 🙏🤔
Much love

Church This Sunday October 4th
In church this Sunday we will consider God's words of warning to His people through Hosea and Amos to the northern tribes and Joel to the people of Judah. He likens their spiritual infidelity to adultery and prostitution. Yet despite their persistent rebellion, He continues to offer forgiveness and restoration if they would only repent and return to Him. Oh, the extent of His faithfulness, mercy and compassion. His heart was torn and breaking, but they left Him no choice. The people refused to heed the prophets' warnings. Let us all resolve never to be so stubborn and stupid.Join us at 10.30 for worship and fellowship.

Church This Sunday Sept 27

Greetings dear brothers and sisters 🤗😍

This Sunday we will continue our journey through the minor prophets of the Old Testament. In particular Haggai and Zechariah, who were in Jerusalem as the returned exiles were "taking their time" to rebuild the Temple. These two prophets encouraged, exhorted the people to make God's House their number 1 priority, ahead of rebuilding their own homes
This temple would someday be visited by God's Humble Messenger King!
This shift in their focus had an attached promise of God's blessing in their lives, harvests etc.
The Lord Jesus taught a similar truth in Matt 6:33.
So please join us this week for worship and fellowship, and especially as we SHARE A FELLOWSHIP LUNCH together (bring something along if you can).
You are all invited to stick around for GAMES afterwards.
You are all very dear to our hearts
Costa and Mia

Church This Sunday September 6th
Greetings my dear brothers and sisters
Life in our modern hectic world is often described as a rat race. We need to compete if we are to succeed. Prove ourselves to be the best person for the job. So from a very young age we constantly seek the approval of others, or at least avoid being the target of teasing by bullies.
How should we, as children of God, deal with these issues and struggles?
Join us at 10.30 for worship, fellowship and stimulating discussion of these foundational issues.

Church This Sunday August 30th
Greetings dear brothers and sisters 🤗😍
Have you ever asked "Why me, Lord?". A common response to when something significant falls through. A major disappointment or hassle.

Why does God allow us to go through such suffering or trials? Has He stopped loving or caring for us? Is He punishing us for our failures or wrongdoing? It's easy to feel abandoned.
This week we will consider the story of Job, which will address a lot of these questions.

Being the last Sunday of the month we will be having lunch together after the service, (please feel welcome to bring 00a plate of food or a drink if you like/ can.) Lunch will be followed by social fun games for a couple of hours or so.

Please join us at 10.30 for worship, learning and great fellowship.
Love in Him

Greetings dear brothers and sisters
Well, the exile to Babylon is over . 70 years as God promised through Jeremiah. The Persians destroy Babylon and their kings are moved by God to allow the Jewish exiles to return to Jerusalem. God raises up two men to lead the nation back - Ezra and Nehemiah - to rebuild the tem[ple and the walls of Jerusalem.
There are SO MANY lessons to learn from them.
Join us at 10.30 this Sunday for worship, fellowship, communion and a real blessing to our hearts from the Word of God.
See you then

Church This Sunday August 2nd
Dear brothers and sisters
Esther is another Old Testament book that, like Ruth, does not mention God once! And yet His hand is obviously, yet subtly, at work through a series of "as it happened"s. Through a series of circumstances, and one woman's courage, He delivers Jews throughout the vast Persian empire from an evil genocidal plot.
This story is so adventurous and full of human weakness and ironic twists that they should make a movie about it!! Oops, they have!
Come join us at 10.30 for worship, fellowship, God's Word and communion.

Church This Sunday July 26th
Dear brothers and sisters 🤗😍
They are probably the best known Bible stories from the Old Testament - Daniel in the lions' den, and the 3 men thrown into the fiery furnace. God's miraculous deliverance for those who remain faithful to Him.

Daniel was a man of great insight, who could interpret dreams and visions. There was a lot of it going on there in Babylon. Does God still speak through dreams today? 🤔

Join us at 10.30 as we join in worship, consider the life and ministry of Daniel.and then fellowship over LUNCH TOGETHER this Sunday. Bring a friend!
