Church This Sunday May 10th
Greetings dear brothers and sisters
Last week we walked through the disastrous period of the judges. What comes next? This Sunday we will consider the life and ministry of one of the giants of Israel's history, Samuel. The last of the judges, the man who oversees the transition into the Kingdom of Israel. King #1 Saul, who quickly disappoints, but in the wings awaits king #2, David. What a contrast!!?
Join us at 10.30 for worship , fellowship and an encouraging testimony. There will be an opportunity to pray together after the service.

This Sunday we will be marching across the Jordan River and around the walls of Jericho, led by Joshua and the ark of the Lord.
The Lord is finally fulfilling His promise to Abraham about the promised land flowing with milk and honey. It's a story with highs and lows.

Being the last Sunday of the month, the service will be followed by lunch, so bring a plate if you can.

So join us at 10.30 for worship, fellowship, a testimony and a banquet.

This Sunday we will be considering Moses' final words of exhortation to the next generation of the people of Israel. After 40 years of wandering around in the desert, they were about to enter the promised land.
He instructs, begs, pleads and warns them. "You should obey! You must obey! You can obey! But, sadly, you won't obey."

Join us at 1030 for worship, fellowship and communion.

Also, join us as we farewell our dear sister Kae, as she is about to head off to the Philippines for the next 6 months or more! ๐Ÿฅบ

Church This Sunday April 5th
Greetings dear brothers and sisters
This Sunday marks the holiest and most significant days in the Christian calendar. We will celebrate and focus on the significance of Jesus' resurrection to all of humanity. On Good Friday He died for us and we died with Him. On the third day He did the impossible - He rose from the dead and gave us all the same hope of eternal salvation,Come join us at 10.30 as we worship our Risen Saviour.

REMINDERS:1) Church Lunch this Sunday. Please feel free to bring along a plate or snack, if it's not too inconvenient
2) The end of daylight saving on that day. If you forget to wind back your clock and enjoy the extra hour of sleep, you will get to church an hour early and we can all enjoy an impromptu prayer meeting
Much love my dear family

Church This Sunday March 29th

Greetings dear brothers and sisters
This Sunday our dear brother David will be sharing God's Word with us.

Topic: Justice, Mercy & Grace: Why Jesus had to dieAs we look towards Good Friday when we remember the death of Jesus, we will explore the reasons why the only way that humanity could have their broken relationship with God restored was through the sacrifice of God's son, Jesus. Justice and mercy cannot coexist, so how could a 'God of Justice' save the world? It is only through grace that the demands of both justice and mercy can be satisfied.

Come along. Bring a friend. Worship begins at 10.30

Church Tomorrow March 22
Greetings dear brothers and sisters ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜

This Sunday we will continue our journey through the books of Moses, from Mt Sinai (Exodus 19) and the Ten Commandments through the book of Leviticus (often described as the graveyard of many a Bible reading program). How are these books relevant and helpful to a follower of Jesus, under the New Covenant? Come and be blown away.

So please join us at 10.30 for worship and fellowship.

Much love

โœˆ๏ธ Imagine your plane is running out of fuel.
To make it back safely, something has to go โ€” but what?
When life gets busy and pressure builds, we often make the same mistake spiritually.
This short reflection reminds us why our time with God is the one thing we should never ditch.

Church tis Sunday January 18th
This Sunday we will have the privilege of hearing the Word as shared by James (our occasional drummer).

He writes: "Jesus called all people to repent and believe in the Gospel. And He commissioned we who believe to 'spread the Word' to the ends of the Earth. But how many Christians actively proclaim the Gospel?

The Gospel is actually a very simple message, but that doesn't mean evangelism is easy, it can be daunting - it's a big deal and we fear rejection, or getting it wrong.

This Sunday we will consider what the Gospel actually is, what it isn't, and explore motivations for overcoming our fears and joyfully preaching to the lost the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord."

So join us at 10.30 for worship, fellowship and communion (to be led by Panayoti / Peter)
