On the evening of December 24, 2024 (Christmas Eve), and into the early hours of December 25, 2024 (Christmas Day), His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne presided over the Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Catherine in Malvern East, Melbourne, VIC.

Co-serving with His Grace were the Parish Priest, Fr George Adamakis, and the Parish Assistant Priest, Fr Kyriakos Tsapas.

Also present at the service was the Consulate General of Greece in Melbourne, Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis.

During the Liturgy, His Grace read the Christmas message of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, followed by Fr. George, who read the Christmas message from His All-Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople.

At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Fr. George and Bishop Kyriakos bid farewell to Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis, as his term as Consul General in Melbourne will end in the new year of 2025, with his departure from Australia. As a thoughtful gesture and Christmas gift, Fr. George presented Mr. Kakavelakis with an icon of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lastly, His Grace extended warm wishes for a safe and Blessed Christmas and conveyed the blessings and good wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia to all present.

On December 11-12 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan of New Zealand, presided over the Festal Celebrations (Hierarchical Vespers and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy) in honour of St. Spyridon the Miracle-Worker, Bishop of Trimythous. Joining His Eminence in the services were clergy from the Diocese of Melbourne, with His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne fervently praying inside the altar.

His Eminence expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne for their love and support. He delivered a powerful sermon emphasizing the importance of prayer from the heart, urging the faithful to focus on Christ as the central point of their lives, for only through Him can salvation be found. He also reflected on the life and miracles of St. Spyridon throughout both days of the celebrations.

Many faithful attended the services, along with distinguished guests, including the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne, Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis, and Mr. Tony Tsourdalakis.

At the conclusion of the services, His Eminence distributed the Artoklasia after Vespers and the Antidoron after the Divine Liturgy.

On the weekend of Friday, November 29th to Saturday, November 30th, 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne presided over the Festal Celebrations for St. Andrew the Apostle at the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle in Forest Hill, Melbourne, VIC.

The celebrations began on Friday evening with Hierarchical Vespers, with clergy from the Diocese of Melbourne, including the Parish Priest, Fr. Kyprianos Nerouppos, participating.
During the service, His Grace addressed the congregation, sharing insights about the life and significance of St. Andrew, primarily in English to accommodate many students from the Aetolian College (Forest Hill branch).

At the conclusion of the service, His Grace conveyed the blessings and well wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and distributed the Artoklasia to the faithful.

The following morning, on Saturday, His Grace led the Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, which was attended by many faithful worshippers, as well as the Honourable Michael Sukkar, MP, Federal Member for Deakin, who was invited by the parish to join in the celebrations.

Fr. Kyprianos assisted His Grace during the service. Once again, His Grace spoke to the faithful about St. Andrew in both Greek and English.

At the end of the Liturgy, His Grace again conveyed the blessings and well wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and distributed the Antidoron to the faithful.

On November 24-25, 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne led the Hierarchical Vespers on Sunday evening, November 24, and the Matins & Hierarchical Divine Liturgy on Monday morning, November 25, at St. Catherine's Church in Malvern East, Melbourne, to commemorate the Feast of St. Catherine the Great Martyr of Alexandria.

The Vespers service was attended by numerous clergy from the Holy Dioceses of Melbourne and Chora, including Parish Priest Fr. George Adamakis and Secondary Parish Priest Fr. Kyriakos Tsapas. Among the attendees were Mr. Nicholas Archondonis, brother of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and his wife, as well as students from the Aetolian College (Malvern Campus).

Over the course of two days, hundreds of faithful gathered from across Victoria to celebrate and honour St. Catherine’s memory and venerate her relics. During both services, His Grace addressed the congregation in Greek and English, particularly to the large group of young people present, reflecting on St. Catherine’s life and her unwavering devotion to Christ.

At the conclusion of Vespers, His Grace extended the blessings and well wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, before distributing the Artoklasia to the faithful. Fr George took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Bishop Kyriakos for presiding over the service and presented him with a bouquet of flowers.

The following day, the Matins & Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was celebrated with the assistance of clergy from the Diocese of Melbourne, including Fr. George Adamakis, Fr. Kyriakos Tsapas, Fr. Chris Dimolianis, and Fr. Stavros Kakavas. Also present at the liturgy were Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis, Consul General of Greece to Melbourne, and Mr. Stavros Venizelos, Ambassador of Greece to Australia, along with his wife, Larisa Tikaidi.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace once again conveyed the blessings and well wishes of Archbishop Makarios and distributed the Antidoron to the faithful.

On Sunday, November 24th, 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne presided over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Haralambos in Templestowe, Melbourne, Victoria, in celebration of the 13th Sunday of Luke and the Leave-Taking Feast of the "Entrance of Our Lady into the Temple."

Throughout the service, His Grace delivered a heartfelt sermon to the large congregation, reflecting on the Gospel reading of the day in both Greek and English to the large presence of youth, offering both spiritual insight and guidance to those gathered in worship.

At the conclusion of the liturgy, His Grace extended the blessings and warm wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia to the faithful. He also distributed the Antidoron to the congregation.

On November 20th and 21st, 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne presided over the festive celebrations for the Feast of the Entrance of Our Lady to the Temple at the Church of the Presentation of Our Lady to the Temple in North Balwyn, Melbourne, Victoria.

The celebrations began on the evening of November 20th with a Vespers service, which saw the presence of numerous clergy from the Holy Diocese of Melbourne & Chora, including Fr. Antipas and Fr. Theodosios from Mount Athos.

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the two priests brought relics of St. Anna, the mother of the Virgin Mary, from Mount Athos for the faithful to venerate. Hundreds of worshipers gathered to honor the feast day, venerate the holy relics, and pray together as the feast marks the beginning of the Christmas season. Among the attendees was Mr. Tony Tsourdalakis, the President of the Victorian Inter-Communities Council.

During the Vespers service, Fr. Antipas gave a sermon to the large congregation, speaking about the significance of the feast and the holy relics. At the conclusion of the service, His Grace distributed the Artoklasia (Five Loaves) to the congregation.

The next day, November 21st, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos presided over the Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, assisted by Fr. Antipas, Fr. Theodosios, Parish Priest Fr. Nicholas Georgiou, Fr. Menelaos Hatzoglou, and Fr. Elias Kentrotis. Following the Liturgy, Fr. Nicholas Georgiou expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Grace and the visiting Holy Fathers from Mount Athos for their presence on the church's feast day.

His Grace also conveyed the blessings and well-wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and distributed the Antidoron to the congregation.

On Friday, November 1st, 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne led the Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in celebration of the Feast Day of the Holy Unmercenaries at the Greek Orthodox Parish of Sts. Anargiri.

Joining His Grace were clergy from the Diocese of Melbourne, including Parish Priest Fr. Stavros Kakavas, Fr. Chris Dimolianis, Fr. Kyriakos Tsapas, Fr. Haralambos Pyrelis, Fr. George Adamakis, and Fr. Panagioti Zoumboulis.

The church was filled with many young people, notably students from Oakleigh Grammar, who joined the choir.

At the conclusion of the service, His Grace spoke on the life and miracles of the Holy Unmercenaries, Saints Cosmas and Damian, and conveyed the blessings and warm wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

On the evening of October 31, 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne led the Hierarchical Vespers for the Feast Day of the Holy Unmercenaries (Saints Cosmas and Damian) at the Greek Orthodox Parish of St. Anagiri in Oakleigh, Melbourne, VIC.

Joining Bishop Kyriakos were clergy from the Diocese of Melbourne, including Fr. Kyriakos Peripetsakis from the Diocese of Chora and Fr. Jean Mawal from St. Paul's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Dandenong.

The service was well-attended, with many distinguished guests and students from Oakleigh Grammar participating as choir members.

During the service, His Grace addressed the large congregation in both Greek and English, sharing insights about the lives of Saints Cosmas and Damian and their miracles, particularly for the youth present.

On Friday, October 26, 2024, the Matins and Hierarchical Liturgy were celebrated for the Feast Day of St. Dimitrios the Myrrh-Bearer at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Dimitrios in Prahran, Melbourne, VIC.

The service was presided by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne, along with Parish Priest Fr Diamandis, Fr Panteleimon Laskaris, Fr Kyriakos Tsapas and Fr Elias Kentrotis from the Diocese of Melbourne.

During the service, Bishop Kyriakos delivered a speech in both English and Greek, highlighting the life and miracles of St. Dimitrios.

At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Kyriakos extended the blessings and best wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia. Fr. Diamandis also took a moment to express his gratitude for Bishop Kyriakos’s presence.

Additionally, His Grace offered warm wishes for a Happy Name Day to all those celebrating.

On Thursday the 25th of October 2024, the Hierarchical Vespers service was held for the Feast Day of St Dimitrios the Myrrh-Bearer at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Dimitrios in Prahran, Melbourne VIC.

The service was presided over by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne together with the clergy from the Diocese of Melbourne and Fr Kyriakos Peripetsakis from the Diocese of Chora.

During the service there were a significant amount of youth present in which Bishop Kyriakos spoke in English and Greek about the life and great miracles of St Dimitrios.

At the end of the Service Bishop Kyriakos conveyed the Blessings and wishes of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia. The parish priest Fr Diamandis also took the opportunity to express his gratitude for Bishop Kyriakos presence in the service.

His Grace also wished a Happy Name Day to all that were celebrating including Fr Dimitrios Drougas who was also present in the service.
