St Alfred's is an Anglican church in the evangelical tradition with a lively contemporary worship style and a great heart for mission.

Our weekly public services range from a smaller Wednesday liturgical service, to a busy and full all-age Sunday gathering at 10am, to our lively Sunday 6pm evening service.

We had some exciting news on Sunday: our new senior minister will be the Rev. Dr. Mark Simon! Mark has plenty of experience in pastoral ministry, management, cross-cultural mission and theological education. Mark is married to Louise and they have two adult sons.

Thank God for His goodness to us!
Please pray that under Mark’s leadership we will become mature followers of Jesus Christ, and that together we will show the love of Jesus wherever he sends us.

Tonight, Lauren will be preaching from Acts 27 on ‘Good news in the midst of trials’ and how the good news of the Gospel cannot be stopped by any earthly storm because Jesus has already taken on the ultimate storm of sin and death for us and conquered it.

Today we will be looking at Acts 20 on ‘Good News-shaped Messengers’. René will take us through Paul’s example of ministry that he gives as a template to the Ephesian Church in his farewell to their leaders and how sharing Christ is his only aim.

Join us tonight for our Holy Communion service, where we will be looking at ‘Good News for All, Without Conditions’ in Acts 15:1-20. Lauren will be speaking on how the gospel is truly good news for all and therefore how we should protect, proclaim, preserve unity and promote the freedom of this truth.

Today, we will be continuing our new series ‘Unstoppable Good News’ as Ben Kelly takes us through Acts 13:1-12, 26-43, looking at Good News in Hands, Feet and Speech.

We will explore how the Holy Spirit uses people to spread the good news to the ends of the earth by;
Setting Apart and Sending (vv.1-5),
Shielding from Spiritual Attack (vv.6-12),
Speaking through Scripture (vv.12-41).

There will also be a second session of Parish Consultations in regards to the next Senior Minister held from 4-5:30pm (PRIOR to the 6pm service).
