Hi Church family,

Spring has sprung and we’re looking forward to gathering with you this Father’s Day Sunday. We can smell the bacon and eggs already. Served before the service so come early and come hungry! James will be sharing the Word and we can always count on opening with emboldened praise and worship — how good was extended worship on the altar last Sunday. Wow.

We’re stepping into Four Fridays of Prayer & Fasting, TODAY! If you missed the opening of our People of Prayer series w Tam last week you can catch up on the podcast, and we’d love to see you tonight at 7pm for prayer in the Upper Room.

Thank you, truly and deeply for prayerfully making a commitment to the Building Fund for the coming 12 months Church. Generosity isn’t simply the means to the vision; generosity is the vision and it gives glory to the Father. We’re glad to be honouring God together in this way. It you have missed our pledge moment these last Sundays please take a moment to consider what partnership looks like for you this year and complete a digital pledge or a pledge card this Sunday. We’ll be in touch once all the commitments are in with an update, and we look forward to celebrating together and giving thanks to God for all He is doing among us and through us.

We can’t wait to worship with you throughout September, including with some of our favourite special guests, Chris & Bec from Gravity Worship, wahoo and our All In Team night next Wed 9th.

Even in the midst of difficult circumstances, God invites us to encounter His presence and experience His healing, wholeness and hope.

This Sunday we’re gathering together in one location for a special morning (hearing from Ps Jacelle!) as we continue our Partners Series.

Following the service, stay around and enjoy a delicious curry lunch! We can smell the goodness already!

We’ll also be taking a moment to prayerfully partner in our Building Fund Commitment as a church fam. For many years, our building fund has given those who call C3 Monash home the opportunity to go above and beyond their regular giving to invest in our church’s future. On Sunday 23 and Sunday 30 August as part of our Partners series we will invite our church family to prayerfully partner in a building fund pledge. We pray that these investments will help ensure our building continues to serve both our church and the wider community for many years to come.

This financial year we completed a long‑awaited renovation to The Commons. Providing for our growing children’s and youth ministries these renovations have also facilitated the relaunch of GroKids Junior and refreshed our Parents Lounge. As with the kitchen upgrade and chair purchase of the previous financial year, we have carefully managed costs to ensure responsible stewardship.

This coming year, our building fund giving will focus on the priority of reducing our mortgage, replacing the end-of-life, nearly 20-year-old auditorium lighting, and hopefully allow us to commence one of the next stages of our Grounds and Gardens Project.

We are finalising a long-term asset renewal plan to proactively manage the building’s future maintenance and investment requirements over the next 5 to 10 years. We carry the responsibility of both stewardship and shepherding—ensuring we remain financially sustainable while honouring the calling to remain a local church for the people of this city.

We encourage everyone to come prayerfully prepared as we partner together in what God is building among us.

WE LOVE OUR YOUTH! Filled with genuine friendships, God conversations, praise and worship, the preaching of The Word, and hands down the BEST home-cooked family meals any teenager could chow down on. 🍽️🙌

A huge thank you to our incredible Youth Pastor Jacelle and our amazing youth team who pour out their time, love, and faith into this next generation week after week. You are so appreciated.

As we head into a new term, our prayer is simple:

Lord, let these young people grow in knowing You. Build them, strengthen their faith, shape their character, and draw them closer to You every single day. May they discover who You’ve called them to be and walk confidently in Your purpose for their lives.

We’re looking forward to another C3 Cares Pantry Morning 1030am this Thursday, 23 July! Worship (one of our delightful musicians ⬆️) , communion and pantry pick up!

We’re also excited to welcome some wonderful new team members who have recently joined our C3 Cares family. 💚 Their willingness to serve is already making a difference in our community.

There’s always room for more helping hands! If you’ve been thinking about volunteering, we’d love to chat with you. Whether you can help regularly or just occasionally, every contribution matters.

Come warm up with great coffee, homemade baked goods, and even better people. ☕🍪 It’s also REACH SUNDAY and we are hearing from Compassion!

And remember… lifting your hands in worship is scientifically unproven, but highly recommended for improving circulation. 🙌😂

A huge shoutout to our incredible creative teams who brave the cold and arrive extra early to make Sunday happen. You’re amazing!
