Hi there Church!

Well, well, well November is packed with opportunities to connect, grow, serve, and celebrate together! In this month’s update, you’ll find details about our upcoming Team Thank You Party, C3 Cares Christmas hampers, Global Day of Prayer, a special grade 5 Youth invite, special guests, and more.
Also (drumroll) Monash family, we are SO excited that C3 Global Conference 2027 is coming to our very own region!

Many of you will remember the incredible Presence Conferences held right in the heart of Sydney, and we believe this will be another landmark moment in the life of our movement. There is something special about gathering with thousands of people — incl kids and youth from across our global C3 family, worshipping together, being inspired, and hearing what God is doing around the world.

Early bird tickets go on sale in just a few days @ c3global.com and we’d love to see as many of our church family there as possible. Whether you’ve been part of C3 for decades or only recently joined the journey, this is shaping up to be a significant moment as we honour our past, celebrate all God has done, and look ahead with faith for the future.

Why not start the conversation now, mark the dates in your calendar, and consider joining us in Sydney from 29 September - 1 October 2027. We genuinely believe it will be a memorable and faith-building experience for our whole church family. Read more.

With love, C3 Monash Team

It’s good to know you, Church! And it’s been so special meeting your guests and catching up with so many of you lately. We LOVE the life that happens when we gather.

This Sunday, we have the joy of welcoming Ps Cathie Green a much-loved voice in the life of C3 Monash.

Pastors Richard Green and Cathie have faithfully supported the leadership of Monash on behalf of C3 for many years. They’re church planters, Kingdom builders and, above all, shepherds with a pastoral, Christ led heart.

We can’t wait to welcome Ps Cathie and hear what’s on her heart for us this Sunday. 🌿

See you Sunday, Church!

Things are looking a little different in our auditorium right now. Thanks to our Building Fund partnership, we’re replacing our nearly 20-year-old roof lights this week. Wow. You’ve served us well, little lights! 🫡

What a joy it is to steward this beautiful building and invest in the spaces where our church family gathers, grows and encounters Jesus.

Apparently, the new lights come with around 260 lighting settings so bring on Sunday worship… and possibly a disco. 🪩😂

Thank you, church. See you Sunday!

Have you known the ministry of our foyer? It’s a beautiful foyer and no wonder. Where much of the testimony, care, prayer, and tears are poured out. Stay curious and stay slow right here.

We kicked off our OPEN teaching THEME last Sunday w Ps James and we can’t wait to journey through it together this spring w our teaching team and guests Pastors Cathie Green and Nathan Oliver. A season to open our hearts, open our hands, open our lives and see what God wants to do in and through us.

See you Sunday coming ….. at the dining table in the foyer.

Dear Church,

As we step into the final months of our OPEN theme, we're filled with expectation for what God wants to do in and through our church family. We believe the Holy Spirit will bring unique, timely and faith-building words through our teaching team and special guests, speaking not only to us as a church, but personally into our individual lives. Our prayer is that each of us would come with open hearts, open ears and a readiness to respond to all God has for us this spring.

If you missed our recent weekend announcements, we'd also love to share an important family update. Relocating and stepping into the leadership of C3 Monash almost five years ago has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of our lives. It has also stretched us in many wonderful ways.

By 2027, James will have served 17 years in full-time pastoral ministry, and of course Tam and the girls have been a huge part of that journey.

We are deeply grateful for God's faithfulness throughout every season and wanted to let you know that our family will be taking a period of leave over October and November. James will be taking a combination of Long Service Leave and Annual Leave from 5 October until 18 November, returning in time for our All Team Thank You Party. Tam is also planning to take some annual leave and enjoy quieter Sundays with the family during this season. This time will provide an opportunity for us to slow down, invest in family, rest well and return refreshed and expectant for all God has ahead.

While we're away, we'd love to ask for your support by continuing to be present in our Sunday gatherings, praying regularly for our church and leadership, being an encouraging and approachable presence for others, and helping strengthen the unity, relationships and culture that make C3 Monash such a special home.

Much love, Ps James and Tam

Murder mystery, epic costumes and a whole lot of worthwhile fun….. just another end of term night at Youth! The term has been filled with nights of worship, testimonies, connect groups, hearty home cooked meals (every Friday evening!) and lots of times of prayer and encouragement.

And honestly, this is why we serve our young people. Because behind the games, the laughter and the questionable detective skills are young people who matter deeply to Jesus.

Thank you Ps Jacelle and our amazing, growing Youth Team for everything you’ve poured out this term.

And we can’t wait to welcome the up-and-coming Year 6s of 2027 at the end of Term 4! 👀🎉
