WEEKEND THAT WAS

We celebrated the baptism of Tina, who publicly committed her life to Christ in a special and faith-filled moment. Baptism is a reminder that in Jesus we are welcomed into the family of God, loved, forgiven and made new.

We also gathered around good food and conversation, sharing a meal together, strengthening friendships and welcoming those who joined us. There’s something special about simply slowing down and doing life together.

Our Pathfinders spent the weekend out in God’s creation enjoying worship, reflection, team building activities and adventure together. A sincere thank you to all those who helped organise the camp, prepare meals and invest their time and care into our young people.

God is continuing to work in hearts and lives. The mission continues.

WEEKEND THAT WAS

Psalm 133:1 “It is truly wonderful when the people of God live together in peace.”

This weekend felt like a glimpse of that beauty. More than 400 people of all ages gathered across Canberra to worship, pray, reconnect, and seek God together. There was a deep sense that God is moving in this city and calling His people to lift their eyes again to the mission He has placed before us.

Through the message shared by Pastor Justin Lawman, we were reminded that the mission of God is not distant or abstract, it is here, now, in our streets, homes, workplaces, schools, and communities.

And so the mission continues. May we go forward with renewed faith, open hearts, and the courage to reflect the character of Christ and carry His hope into the city around us.

WEEKEND THAT WAS

This weekend we celebrated the baptism of Edith, who publicly committed her life to Christ in a beautiful and faith-filled moment. It was a powerful reminder that God is still changing lives and calling people into a deeper walk with Him.

Our church also shared in foot washing and communion together, reflecting on the humility, love and sacrifice of Christ, and the hope we have because of Him.

We also acknowledge Mother’s Day, giving thanks for mothers and the many women who lovingly care for and support others in our church family, while holding space for those who may find this day difficult.

If you’re searching for hope, community, or simply want to know Jesus more, we would love to welcome you. Join us Saturday mornings from 9:30am.

WEEKEND THAT WAS

We were challenged to grow our church by using our gifts to connect, serve and disciple others in Canberra.

We firmly believe God hears and answers our prayers. We were uplifted as we gathered to pray for the sick, hurting and those searching for Christ in our church and wider community.

Over 100 members of our church community attended the SNSW Conference Adventurer Worship Day.

Our International Students Choir performed in song at the Sierra Leone Independence Day Thanksgiving Service in Canberra.

We thank our many volunteers each week for their joyful and loving service.

See you next Saturday at 9:30am.

WEEKEND THAT WAS

Surrendering to God is not losing control. Rather, it is placing your life into the hands of the One who already gave His life for you.

Chaplain Ricky Su who currently serves Australia as the Coordinating Chaplain (Royal Military College, Duntroon) led us in a time of reflection for ANZAC Day.

We had great conversations, meaningful worship, Bible study and fellowship over lunch.

More than 80 of our Karen community enjoyed their weekend camp at Wee Jasper.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped clean the courtyard pool.

See you next Saturday from 9:30am.

Secrets of Prophecy Bible Seminar

Are you wondering what's happening in our world?
Are Israel and America the big player in the end?
Why doesn't God stop all this suffering and wars?

The book of Revelation, in the Bible, has answers to these question and more.

I've been to the Island of Patmos where Revelation was written two centuaries ago. I've been to Israel, Iran, Grease, Egypt Europe and America to visit the places the Bible and Revelation wrote about. You can understand God's end time plans.

I've conducted many Prophecy seminars and helped many people understand the books of Daniel and Revelation. I invite you to this amazing Prophecy Seminar where you will completely understand the Prophecies in the Bible. You will see that God truly loves this world and everyone on it and has a wonderful plan to guide us through these last days and into eternity of peace and joy.
