The message today was such a reminder that it’s easy to look at everything that feels broken around us and wonder what difference we can really make.

But God has never needed perfect people or perfect circumstances, He is looking for people who are willing to say, “Use me.”

Like Nehemiah, we’re called to care enough to do something. To pray. To stand together. To rebuild. To be the salt and light wherever God has placed us.

There is still so much God wants to do in our families, our communities and our nation, and we get to be part of it. 🙌

The nets may need mending, but the catch will be great.

What a powerful morning together.

Today, we celebrate and honour our Visionary Leader, Pastor At Boshoff for 40 years of faithful service to God and His Kingdom.

His life is a powerful testimony that obedience, faithfulness and surrender to God can impact generations and leave an eternal legacy.

As we honour the past, may we also be challenged to follow his example, serving God faithfully, remaining obedient to His call and giving our lives fully for His purpose.

May we never underestimate what God can do through a life that simply says, “Here I am, Lord—send me!” 🙌🔥

I thank God for His faithfulness over these past 40 years in full-time ministry!!!

What started as a dream with just six people in Ladybrand has been an unbelievable journey of faith and seeing God do the impossible! For every soul saved, every life impacted, every territory taken for God's Kingdom... I give God all the glory!!!

The best decision I ever made! Saying yes to a life fuelled by the love and purpose of God! Thank you, Jesus!

Sometimes the mission is closer than we think.

It’s the person beside you.
The message you’ve been meaning to send.
The invitation you almost didn’t make.
The moment you choose to notice instead of walk past.

Tonight reminded us that following Jesus means carrying His heart into the places we already go and the people we already know.

We don’t need a platform.
We don’t need perfect words.
We just need to be willing.

Because someone’s life can change when one person decides to show up with the love of Jesus.

Following Jesus. Living on mission. 🤍

There was something so grounding about this morning.

We were reminded that living in God’s purpose doesn’t mean having your whole life figured out. It means being willing to trust Him with where you are, what you have, and what He’s asking of you right now.

Sometimes we put so much pressure on “finding our purpose” that we miss the fact that God is already working in the ordinary parts of our lives — in our families, our work, our friendships, our serving, and even in seasons that don’t make sense yet.

This morning’s message, “Living in His Purpose,” was such a good reminder that you don’t have to be the most qualified, the most confident or the person with the perfect story for God to use your life. You just have to be available to Him.

And that’s something we love about Sundays at CRC Vaal. You can come as you are. You can still be figuring things out. You can have questions, messy weeks and unfinished stories — and still find a place to belong.

Tonight felt different.

There was such a real sense of God’s presence in the room, and the message “Following Jesus, A Life, Transformed” brought things close to home.

Following Jesus is not about having everything together. It’s about staying close enough to Him that, over time, we start becoming more like Him, more patient, more loving, more forgiving, more aware of the people around us.

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It happens in the everyday surrender. In the honest moments where we look at our own lives and ask, “Jesus, what in me still needs to change?”

Because the evidence of discipleship is not only what we say we believe, but what our lives are becoming.

A powerful evening of His presence, reflection and surrender. 🤍

There’s something deeply meaningful about watching parents stand before God with their children and say, “We want to raise them to know You.” 🤍

This morning we celebrated the dedication of these precious little lives, but also the moms and dads choosing, day by day, to make Jesus part of their homes, their conversations and the way they raise their families.

Parenting comes with so much love, responsibility, uncertainty and learning as you go. Today wasn’t about promising to get it all right. It was about choosing Who we want at the centre of it all.

What a privilege to be a church family that gets to stand alongside these families as their children grow. 🤍
