The word Bizweni comes from the Zulu word “Mbizo”, which means “the king calls”, and therefore “Bizweni” means, “Called to a place of meeting by the king” or abbreviated to: “Place of Meeting”

That's right! This year we celebrate 25 years of Bizweni Centre for Children with Disabilities! We started off in one room with a few children, and now we provide education, therapy and care and much more for 66 wonderful children.
