🎉 Happy 1 Year Anniversary, Arise Community Church! 🎉

One year ago, on Pentecost Sunday, God birthed a church community. We have seen His faithfulness, grace, provision, and His Presence!

We celebrate this milestone…“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.”

Today we celebrate all that God has done, and we look forward with expectation to all that He will do in the years ahead.

Thank you to every person who has prayed, served, worshipped, given and encouraged us - you are part of this story.😇

Title: “ First Fruit “

The Resurrection: In 1 Corinthians 15:20, the Apostle Paul refers to Jesus as the “firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” Just as ancient first fruits guaranteed the rest of the harvest, Christ’s resurrection guarantees the future bodily resurrection of all believers.

The Holy Spirit: Believers are said to have the “firstfruits of the Spirit” (Romans 8:23), acting as a down payment and assurance of our ultimate redemption.

Romans 11:16 NIV
If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

The Church: James 1:18 describes early Christians as “a kind of firstfruits of his creatures,” indicating that they were the promising beginning of a much larger spiritual harvest to come.

For modern believers, the biblical principle of First Fruits serves as an active demonstration of gratitude, stewardship, and putting God first in all aspects of life.
