There is a need to get the Body of Christ to stand together and show the world our contribution as Christians to the needs that we face in South Africa. On our own we make little or no impact in our communities but as a United Spirit filled Christian Body we can make a huge impact and therefore restore peoples faith in Jesus and the Church. t the mandate that was given us by our Lord Jesus, THE GREAT COMMISSION, Matt 28:19 “ Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son , and of the Holy Ghost.” (KJV). UBOC will make it possible for any Christian to find somewhere, something in the Christian community to get involved with. Whether it is with physical help at an outreach, prayer cover for a specific event or happening, financial assistance to a Ministry, logistical help to missionaries or whatever God lays on your heart to do. We all know the saying, helping or giving to others is more rewarding than receiving. This is the connecting point to start finding your purpose and calling that God placed in your heart. We all have different situations in which God has blessed you. Some have caring natures to get out there and help those in need, some are blessed financially to bless others, some to preach, to teach, to love and share, as prayer watchmen. Together every Christian form part of a finely tuned Body of Christ, with Christ as the Head. This is the most important part as our vision is to help people to discover Jesus. Supporting all charitable Christian ministries, connecting to others, Christian business support. Example – Soup Kitchen - There needs are bread , soup, tinned food, location, logistics. Our solution is to use our contacts in our database in these various fields to get support like a businessman that can transport the food etc, our contact at a bread bakery to supply an donate bread etc so we can keep a little thing like a soup kitchen sustainable for a longer period. As I now my Lord Jesus it is at these little things, like a reach-out ministry, where His heart is. (The little children)
