Blessed Encounter at Riversdale South Congregation.
On Thursday evening, Apostle Jacques Cronje conducted a divine service for the Riversdale South congregation. He was accompanied by District Rector Priest Grandvin Joseph, along with the rectors of the district.
Bible Text: John 21:5–6 (NKJV)
“Then Jesus said to them, ‘Children, have you any food?’ They answered Him, ‘No.’*
*And He said to them, ‘Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.’ So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.”
Following the celebration of Holy Communion, the congregation witnessed the ordination of one Priest and three Deacons.
Deacon Carlton Lotz was ordained as Priest, while Brother Zandere Allexander, Sister Hillary February, and Sister Evelyn Prins were ordained as Deacons.
Thereafter, the Apostle dispensed the 40th Anniversary blessing upon Community Evangelist Colin (Ret.) and Sister Sanna Joseph.
After the closing prayer and benediction, the choir majestically concluded the service with the hymn, “O Give Thanks Unto the Lord.”
The Apostle then greeted the congregation, after which moments of heartfelt fellowship followed.
