Dear Members and Supporters of Bethesda Assembly of God,
Grace and peace to you.
As we step into 2026, we warmly welcome you back and thank God for His faithfulness over our church, our families, and our journey together. We look forward to another year of worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service as we continue to grow in Christ and in community.
Please take note of two important updates for the year ahead:
Our 2026 CalendarOur church calendar for 2026 is now in place and will guide our worship services, prayer gatherings, discipleship moments, and special events throughout the year. We encourage all members and supporters to journey with us intentionally as we align our lives with God’s purposes for this season.
Change of VenueWe would also like to inform you that we are no longer gathering in Royal Street. From now on, Bethesda Assembly of God will meet at our new venue:

We trust that this new space will serve as fertile ground for worship, connection, and mission.
Vision 2026 – “Look at the Harvest” (John 4)Our vision for 2026 is anchored in Jesus’ words in John 4: “Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” We believe this is a call to spiritual attentiveness, faithful obedience, and renewed missional focus. God is at work, lives are ready, and the time is now. Together, we commit ourselves to seeing, serving, and stewarding the harvest God has prepared.
We look forward to worshipping with you, building together, and stepping boldly into all that God has planned for Bethesda Assembly of God in 2026.

Terwyl ons ons kinders voorberei vir die nuwe skooljaar, wil ons julle herinner dat voorbereiding meer behels as net klere, skooldrag en skryfbehoeftes. Ons kinders het ook geestelike voorbereiding, gebed en bedekking nodig wanneer hulle nuwe klasse, uitdagings, vriendskappe en verwagtinge aanpak.
Die Woord leer ons dat wanneer ons ons weë aan die Here toevertrou, Hy ons paaie gelyk maak (Spreuke 3:5–6). Geestelike voorbereiding help ons kinders om die jaar met geloof, wysheid en selfvertroue te begin.
Ons nooi alle ouers en kinders hartlik uit na ons Terug-skool-toe-diens:

Ons begin die dag om 08H00 met ’n Lofprysingstap, waar jongmense deur die strate sal stap en lofliedere sing terwyl hulle op pad is na die sportveld.
By die sportveld wag daar ’n dag van pret, geloof en vriendskap, met aktiwiteite soos:
⚽ Sokker
🏉 Rugby
🏐 Netbal
… en ander sportsoorte!
Hierdie dag is ‘n viering van ons jeug se geloof, energie en samehorigheid.

Welkom by die Bybelklasvoorbereidingsproses vir die jeug by die Bathesda Assemblies of God Moorreesburg SA, WC, waar ons missie is om "liefdevolle dissipels te vorm wat die wêreld sal verander." Deur die loop van die 2 jaar program sal ons saam reis en ons geloof verken en verryk deur Christus te volg en oop te wees vir die leiding van die Heilige Gees.

Om voor te berei om die Bevestiging van ons jongmense te vier, is nie net 'n kategeseprogram waar ons kennis in die gedagtes van jong pinkstermense inboesem nie. Dit is 'n proses waar jongmense God in hul lewens ervaar deur die tekens, sakramente en gawes van die Kerk. Deur ons Doop word ons almal geroep om dissipels van Christus in ons wêreld te wees. Die Bevestiging berei ons voor om ons Doop en Nagmaal te verstaan, waar ons die gawes besef wat die Heilige Gees in ons ingeskerp het en ons gaan voort en gebruik daardie gawes tot eer van God, hoe ons ook al daartoe geroep mag word.

Estrangement. ...

Financial loss. ...
economic damage, monetary decline, fiscal hardship, financial harm, and monetary loss.

Life-changing illness or injury...
Life-changing loss (also called traumatic or catastrophic loss) are generally defined as loss that are so serious that they result in some form of permanent disability, long-term health problems and/or a reduction in a person’s life expectancy.

Relationship loss/divorce, friendship, parental relationship.

The mourning process refers to individuals’ emotional, psychological, and physical journey when they experience a significant loss.

Mourning is a natural response to the profound impact of losing someone or something dear to us, such as the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the loss of a job. Even the process of stopping a drug addiction can look similar to mourning inside the brain.

MOURNING is bringing to end by divine closer.
Psalm 30:5
For His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime or in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
