HIGHLIGHT:
"SAMRO makes a contribution to the retirement fund on behalf of every member who earns more than R100 in royalties, and we do not withhold any portion of the member's royalties. The contributions come directly from SAMRO's own revenue. It's a benefit, not a policy. We do encourage members who are in a position to do so to make their own additional voluntary contributions to keep that benefit growing, so that when they decide to retire, it provides real financial security for them and for their beneficiaries." – Lillian Seloane, Deputy Principal Officer: SRAF, SAMRO

Day 4 of on 's The Way Up was all about legacy and estate planning. Your music can keep working for you long after the spotlight, and SAMRO's retirement benefit is there to help you and your loved ones plan ahead.

Make sure your membership, details and beneficiaries are up to date with SAMRO, so your royalties and your legacy are protected.

Tomorrow at 8:00 AM, for our final episode: Lesego Maforah, Manager: CSI & Special Projects, on creating lasting impact through SAMRO's CSI initiatives. Tune in to The Way Up on YFM.
