Sunday 07.06.2026 | 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 | Pastor Alain Lelo

2 Chronicles 14:1-5
2 Chronicles 16:1-3, 12-14.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The passage we read in 2 Chronicles 14:1–5 introduces us to King Asa, who ruled Judah for about three decades.
-A king who loved God and walked in righteousness.
-A king who removed the high places because of his devotion to the Lord.

I would like to pause here and say:
When a nation, a family, or an individual chooses to place God at the center, God comes to establish His throne there.

After 35 years of peace and stability, a crisis arose that threatened to destabilize King Asa. Yet, 2 Chronicles 16:12 reveals the tragic end of his life.
What can cause someone who has faithfully served God and walked with Him to end up almost losing their way?

Answer: A crisis that is not properly managed.

𝑨 𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒔𝒖𝒅𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒓𝒖𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒚.

Even great men of God, such as John the Baptist, experienced moments of crisis (Luke 7:18–20).

*Crises can challenge our convictions.
*Beliefs can be shaken.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you...” (Isaiah 43:2)

𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 𝙪𝙨:

1-There are miracles that only those who pass through the fire will experience.
2- This verse does not always present the Christian as someone who escapes the crisis but rather as someone who learns to go through the crisis with God (Psalm 84:6–7).
3-Faith does not deny the reality of the crisis; it affirms that God is with us in it.
4-Not every crisis is resolved in the same way; we must seek God's wisdom and direction.
5-Isolation is not the solution during times of crisis.
6-Many emotions arise in times of crisis, which is why we must continually renew our minds (Romans 12:1–2).

May the Lord help us to remain steadfast and faithful in every season of life.

Sunday 31 |05| 2026 | 𝙏𝙊 𝘽𝙀 𝘼 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝙄𝙉 𝙅𝙀𝙍𝙐𝙎𝘼𝙇𝙀𝙈 | Lady Solange Lelo

📖Scriptures :

Luke 22:31-34
Acts 1:8
Ezekiel 33:7-9

In the passage we have read from Luke 22, we see our Lord Jesus making a profound revelation to Simon.

The Lord said:
"Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail."

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘀:

1. The devil is not all-powerful and cannot do whatever he wants with us.
There are limits imposed on him by God. (Job 1:10–12)
We also have an Intercessor before the Father. (Hebrews 7:23–25)

2. Jesus prayed that Simon's faith would not fail because faith gives us victory in times of testing. (Luke 17:6; Ephesians 6:16)
Faith enables us to overcome trials and stand firm despite opposition.

3. Trials help us grow spiritually. (Job 42:5). Jesus prayed for Simon so that, after being restored, he would strengthen his brothers.
In the same way, we are saved so that God may use us as instruments to bring salvation to others. (Acts 16:30–33)

𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁.

𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨?
A witness is someone who has seen or heard an event and can testify to its truth and authenticity.

A witness of Christ is someone who testifies to the Gospel, to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, sometimes even at the cost of their own lives, as was the case with the apostles.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕?
1. It is making visible the character and attributes of Christ.
2. It is reflecting God's love through our actions. (1 John 3:18; John 14:21–24)
3. It is living a life of obedience to the Word of God. (Philippians 2:8)
4. A witness for Christ knows how to be a watchman. (Ezekiel 33:7–9)
A watchman warns, guides, and remains spiritually alert for the sake of others.
5. A witness for Christ knows how to intercede. (Joshua 2:11–12; Jeremiah 15:1; Exodus 32:7–14, 32). An intercessor stands in the gap for others before God.
6. A witness for Christ is patient and compassionate. (Ezekiel 37:1–10 – for reference)

A true witness does not give up on people but believes that God can bring life where there appears to be none.

To be a witness for Christ, we must speak about Christ and testify to what the Lord has done.
(John 4:29-30, 39-41)

We are called to be the light of the world and to reflect Christ through our lives. (Psalm 73:15)

To reach this standard, we need the help and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Scriptures

Psalms 3: 1-9
2 Samuel 15:13-14.

This psalm we have just read is a psalm of David, written while he was fleeing from his son Absalom.
In 2 Samuel 15:13–14, the Bible tells us that David was informed that the hearts of the men of Israel had turned toward Absalom.
As a result, David was forced to flee, weeping, with his head covered, humbled in his grief.
In Psalm 3:2–3, David reveals what people were saying about him:
“There is no salvation for David in God.”
Yes, there are things we cannot control, such as what people say about us in times of trial.

But what we must do is this: Learn to work on our inner selves. In this work, we must:
1) Learn to confront what people or circumstances say, with what we know about our God. (Psalm 3:3–4; Job 19:25–27)
David was not without hope, despite his pain, because he knew that the Lord was his shield.
Job also declared with confidence that his Redeemer lives and will stand in the end.

2) Learn to silence fear and every voice that brings doubt and discouragement
(2 Kings 2:1–11; Judges 7:3; Deuteronomy 20:1, 8)
Fear destroys faith and gives room to doubt (Matthew 14:28–31)
Fear blinds us and prevents us from seeing what the Lord is doing—and what He has already done. (Numbers 13:33)

3) Learn to rely on God and believe His Word. (Luke 5:5; Proverbs 3:5–6)

4) Do not rely on our own abilities. David had a strong army, yet he still cried out to the Lord.
(Psalm 3:5, 8–9; Psalm 44:3–4)

During the rupture, the dead in christ will resurrect first and the live while a transformation of our bodies. The corrupted body will change to uncorrupted and mortal body will become immortal. We will have glorious body, after the likeness of the body of Jesus after the resurrection.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 ?

3 reasons are as follow:

1. Because the body that we have, have been given to sins and cannot inherit eternity. This body is corrupted and we must uncorrupted, immortal bodies, Heavenly bodies.
2. We can not stand in the presence of God with the carnal body.
3. Because the bible says that you are dust and you go back to dust. Death came in through sin. Jesus-christ stripped death with it forces through His death. For the victory manifeste eternally,

2. The gathering of Christians around Jesus-Christ

God loves us to the degree that He did not hesitate to forsake his only son at the cross for us Christians because He wants us closer to Him.

Jesus-Christ came on earth to be served but rather to serve.

1 Thessalonians 4:17

3. God wants to accomplish the promise He gave to those who belong to Him.

God is not a man to lie nor a son of man to repent, What He fulfils what He promises. Jesus-Christ will come back take us with Him

THE RUPTURE IS THE MANIFESTATION OF THAT CENTRAL HOPE OF JESUS-CHRIST, TO BE REUNITED WITH HIM IN HIS PRESENCE

4. It is to allow the prophetic plan of Israel to come to pass.

Israel was the choice of God to spread the gospel to world, but because Israel did recognize their savoir, God turned to the rest of the world. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟭:𝟭𝟭-𝟭𝟮. And so the time of nations started according to the bible, and the birth of the church 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝟮: 𝟭-𝟯𝟭. A long hidden mystery according to Apostle Paul
