*YOUR “INSIDE” TEACHER*

Tuesday, February 22nd .
Pastor Chris

_*But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things… (John 14:26).*_

In John 16:12, the Lord Jesus shows us something very profound. He said to His disciples, _*“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.”*_ In other words, He had a lot of things to tell them which they weren’t going to be able to grasp. Someone might ask, “Why couldn’t they understand or grasp what He had to tell them? Wasn’t Jesus ministering by the Holy Ghost?”

Jesus had the fullness of the Spirit and surely did minister by the Holy Spirit. However, the problem wasn’t with Jesus, but the disciples. In the next verse, He unveiled the solution. He said, _*“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…”*_ (John 16:13). That means the Holy Spirit will declare, report, manifest, show, and unveil the future to them.

The Holy Spirit is an inside teacher in you, and He’ll guide you into all truth. He’ll guide you into the truth that you should preach and teach and grant understanding of the same to your hearers. Trust Him like Jesus did. He’s the best teacher in the Church. He’ll do better than you; so, let Him.

Remember the Bible says He shall not speak of Himself: _*“…for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak…”*_ (John 16:13). He hears directly from the Father and from Jesus, and reveals them to you. See why you must trust Him for accurate knowledge, wisdom and guidance?

What a privilege it is for us to have such an awesome teacher right inside us. Welcome and encourage the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life! Take advantage of this beautiful ministry; appreciate Him and maximize this privilege.

*PRAYER*

*I’m yielded to the Holy Spirit who enlightens me in everyday affairs and leads me on graciously in the path of success, excellence and perfection. I deal excellently in all my affairs today, walking in your perfect will and guided in the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Luke 12:12* For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say. *||*

*||* *Romans 8:26* Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. *||*

*||* *1 John 2:27* But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. *||*

*A JOINT SITTING IN THE HEAVENLIES*

Monday, February 14th .
Pastor Chris

_*And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6).*_

The expression, “sit together” is from the Greek “sugkathizō” and it means “joint sitting.” It’s a legal term, and the Scripture can’t be broken. That means Jesus’ authority has been extended to us; we’re using the same authority with Him. Thus, everything Jesus utters is in our name, and everything we utter is in His Name. He doesn’t make a decision without us, and we don’t make a decision without Him. This is hugely profound!

Our joint sitting isn’t earthly; it’s heavenly. It’s been decided from heaven. We’re His legal representatives in the earth. What we say in the earth is endorsed in the heavens. Understanding this is very important. It means you alone can take a stand on God’s Word and effect a change on the basis of this understanding, and it’ll be endorsed from heaven.

Some people think that until all the Christians in the world come together to stand against Satan and his antics and deception, then nothing can change. But think about it: our theme verse—Ephesians 2:6—wasn’t written to the Corinthians, neither was it sent to the Thessalonians; they probably never had access to the information. So, every Christian wasn’t at the same level of faith or knowledge at every point in time then; neither are they now.

However, what God expects is that those of us who have come to maturity, who have an understanding of His Word and of the times, will take our stand and our place in Christ to keep Satan under our feet where he belongs. That’s what’s important.

With this kind of knowledge, you maintain control of things in your life, your environment, and the world. You nullify Satan’s plans and works and pull them down by the power of the living Christ. Don’t be troubled by what’s happening in the world today; use your authority in Christ. You reign in Him and through Him over Satan, darkness, the world, and circumstances.

Therefore, subdue your world. Let nothing but Christ reign in your physical body, in your job or business, in your family, and your world. Remember, you’re seated with Him in glory, with the same authority. Praise God forevermore!

*CONFESSION*

*The Lord Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all principality, and power, might, and dominion, and every name that is named, and I have joint sitting with Him! I’m seated with Him in glory. I reign in Him and through Him over Satan, darkness, the world, and circumstances. Hallelujah!*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Luke 10:19 AMPC* Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. *||*

*||* *1 John 4:17* Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. *||*

*||* *Ephesians 1:20-23* Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. *||*

*WARRING WITH PROPHECIES*

Monday, February 7th .
Pastor Chris

_*Timothy, my son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight (1 Timothy 1:18 NIV).*_

The Passion Translation of the verse above says, _*“…use your prophecies as weapons….”*_ That means weaponizing the prophecies that have been spoken concerning you. Use the prophetic words concerning your life, your future, your ministry, career, etc as a weapon in prosecuting the good fight of faith.

Ephesians 6:17 sheds more light on this; it says, _*“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”*_ The sword of the spirit refers to the spoken word, and the spoken word is the prophetic word. It’s an offensive weapon.

There’re two things here about prophecies: There’s the prophecy that’s spoken over your life as an individual, and there’s also the Word of God that’s already written, which the Bible refers to as _*“...a more sure word of prophecy...”*_ (2 Peter 1:19). When you pick that word that’s written concerning you and utter it in faith, that’s prophecy; you’re speaking forth “Rhema” which the Bible describes as the sword of the Spirit in Ephesians 6:17.

For example, the Bible says, _*“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”*_ (1 John 4:4). That’s Logos (Greek). But when Satan comes out against you, or you want to launch an offensive against him, you say, “Devil, I’m of God, and I’ve overcome you because it’s written: Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world.” Thus, you’ve weaponized that scripture!

When you utter those words as “Rhema,” they become the Word of God in your mouth. And the Word of God in your mouth is God talking. That’s also what we do in prayer; we speak forth the Word—the “Rhema” of God in supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks in line with 1 Timothy 2:1.

*PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the power of your Word and for making salvation available to every man. Every soul is yours, for they’ve been bought with a price. I pray today, that many around the world will hear and receive the message of your love and saving power; it’ll pe*****te their hearts and impart righteousness to them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *1 Timothy 1:18 GNB* Timothy, my child, I entrust to you this command, which is in accordance with the words of prophecy spoken in the past about you. Use those words as weapons in order to fight well, *||*

*||* *Hosea 14:2* Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. *||*

*||* *2 Peter 1:21 AMPC* For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it [to do so—it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit. *||*

*STAND OUT FOR GOD*

Wednesday, February 2nd .
Pastor Chris

_*He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light (John 5:35).*_

When Goliath of Gath taunted the armies of Israel, they felt helpless and intimidated, until David showed up. David knew he could defeat Goliath, and he did! It wasn’t about strength; it was about ideology. The difference between David and the others was his way of thinking. He started by saying, _*“…who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”*_ (1 Samuel 17:26).

The circumcision didn’t mean anything to the others, but it sure meant something to David. He saw the armies of Israel as the armies of God. Hallelujah! David couldn’t imagine God’s people being defeated; it didn’t matter who the adversaries were. Think like that. Your desire should be to see the glory of God in and on His people and upon His congregations. David said, _*“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life...”*_ (Psalm 63:1-3).

That should be your passion as a Christian: God must receive glory everywhere you are and everywhere you go. Even if others around you don’t think much about soul winning, be different. Be a burning and a shining light in your school or place of work or business. Let your light shine so brightly that men may see your good works and be provoked to righteousness. Stand out for God.

*CONFESSION*

*I’m a burning and a shining light, standing out and standing strong for the Lord. Through my fellowship with the Holy Spirit, I increase my fire with ever-increasing glory and vision for ministry. I have the mindset that makes me fervent, agile and enthusiastic about the things of God. Praise God!*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Romans 12:11 TPT* Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let him fill you with excitement as you serve him. *||*

*||* *Titus 2:7 NLT* And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. *||*

*||* *1 Timothy 4:12* Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. *||*

*KEEP UP THE ACTIVITIES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS*

Sunday, January 30th .
Pastor Chris

_*…Occupy till I come (Luke 19:13).*_

As Christians, we’ve been given authority over demons of darkness, to cast them out of people, cities, towns, villages and nations. But casting them out alone, sometimes, doesn’t really stop the trouble; you have to ramp up the activities of righteousness in and around such places.

Remember what Jesus said in Matthew 12:43-45. He said when an unclean spirit is cast out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest; finding none, he returns to the place where he was cast out, and if he finds it empty, swept, and garnished, he goes and takes seven other spirits who are more wicked than himself; and all eight of them enter the man. He becomes worse than he was before.

That man shouldn’t have been empty! He should have immediately begun feeding on God’s Word in study and meditation. Likewise, when we cast devils out of a city, nation or town, we must move in with evangelism, and fill the land with the Word of God.

If we don’t preach and increase the activities of righteousness in such places, we’re leaving it open to another visitation of devils. We must take over those places at once by invading them with the Word.

Furthermore, continue in prayer and intercession for those regions to make them uncomfortable for devils to settle back in. As read in our theme verse, Jesus said, _*“Occupy till I come.”*_ That means keep working, keep preaching, keep prevailing in prayer for the souls of men. Keep up the activities of righteousness. Praise God!

*PRAYER*

*Thank you Father, for giving me an understanding of the Word and for building my faith strong and giving me the authority to cast out demons and enforce your will in the earth. The nations of the world are fashioned for your glory; therefore, the influence of Satan is broken and the Gospel is spreading around the world unhindered, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Matthew 24:14* And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. *||*

*||* *Mark 16:15* And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. *||*

*OPEN YOUR HEART TO TRUTH*

Saturday, January 29th .
Pastor Chris

_*For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).*_

In John 7:2-5, we read about the unbelief and opposition of the brothers of Jesus against Him during the Feast of Tabernacles: _*“…’Go where your followers can see your miracles!’ they scoffed. ‘You can’t become a public figure if you hide like this! If you can do such wonderful things, prove it to the world!’”*_ (John 7:3-4 NLT). Verse 5 says specifically, _*“For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.”*_

There’s no doubt that His brothers would have heard from their mother about the miraculous birth of Jesus and the amazing stories of His childhood. Their father Joseph must have told them about how he received angelic visitations several times concerning Jesus. Yet, they didn’t believe in Jesus.

This tells us something: Believing is with the heart. You choose to believe, and you choose to harden your heart. Our theme verse says, _*“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness….”*_ Open your heart to God’s truths! So much is revealed to us in the Scriptures about the divinity of Jesus and the salvation in His Name; embrace these realities.

God’s desire is for us to be filled with the knowledge of His will, to know His truth and walk accordingly. That’s why we find a prayer of the Spirit by the Apostle Paul for God’s children in Colossians 1:9 AMPC: _*“For this reason we also, from the day we heard of it, have not ceased to pray and make [special] request for you, [asking] that you may be filled with the full (deep and clear) knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [in comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God] and in understanding and discernment of spiritual things.”*_ Hallelujah!

*CONFESSION*

*From the beginning, God chose me to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth. Therefore, it makes no difference how many antichrists, false preachers and false teachers are out there in the world, I can’t be deceived, for my heart and mind are anointed to know the truth. I have insight into Kingdom mysteries and secrets. Glory to God!*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *1 Timothy 4:1-2 TLB* But the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some in the church will turn away from Christ and become eager followers of teachers with devil-inspired ideas. 2 These teachers will tell lies with straight faces and do it so often that their consciences won’t even bother them. *||*

*||* *2 Thessalonians 2:11-13* And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: *||*

*||* *1 John 2:20-21* But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. *||*

*VICTORY ASSURED*

Friday, January 28th .
Pastor Chris

_*Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12).*_

In 2 Timothy 4:7, the Apostle Paul said, _*“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”*_ What fight was he talking about? He refers to it in our opening verse: “the good fight of faith.” No matter what happens in your life—in the world, or around you—refuse to be broken, disillusioned or overwhelmed; use your faith!

Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world and its failures, corruption, darkness, wickedness and decadence. Every adversity you face is your opportunity for a testimony as you use your formidable arsenal: the shield of faith. That’s the one you’re counselled to take on above all the others: _*“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”*_ (Ephesians 6:16).

With your faith, you’re able to extinguish, neutralize, make of no effect, ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. Never think there’s a challenge you can’t surmount; no trouble is too much for you to overcome. With the shield of faith, you’re invincible. It doesn’t matter how Satan throws the darts at you; remain strong in faith!

It may seem like all hell is breaking loose in your body; you feel terrible pains and discomfort; yet, you must refuse to accede to sickness and disease; use your faith. And while you’re at it, remember _*“...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word*_ (the Rhema) _*of God”*_ (Ephesians 6:17). That’s the Word of God spoken forth from your lips.

It doesn’t matter how excruciating the pain is; keep affirming your healing and health. Soon enough, your faith will prevail and you’d be able to say like Paul, _*“I have fought a good fight…I have kept the faith.”*_ Always maintain your faith and confidence in the Word.

Hebrews 10:35 says, _*“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.”*_ Don’t say, “Lord, it became too hard; I had to give in”; no! Fight! The fight of faith is your personal fight, and it’s a good fight because you always win. Keep at it, for your victory is guaranteed!

*CONFESSION*

*It makes no difference the troubles in the world; it doesn’t matter what I see, hear or feel; my victory is assured! I’m what God says I am, I have what He says I have, and I can do what He says I can do! I refuse to accept sickness, poverty, defeat, or give in to anything that’s contrary to my divine heritage in Christ. I maintain my confession of the Word, strong in faith, giving glory to God, because the greater One lives in me! Hallelujah!*

*FURTHER STUDY:* *||* *Ephesians 6:10-13* Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. *||*

*||* *Romans 4:19-20* And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; *||*

*||* *1 John 4:4* Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. *||*
