What a blessed and refreshing experience it was for the Young People of the George East district as they embarked on a morning hike around the George dam. This was how they commemorated their youth day by appreciating nature and their freedom as young people.
The morning started off at Rosemore Congregation where the youth were reminded of the history of Youth Day, they were also served with a light refreshment and a prayer by District Rector, Priest Randall Bailey to start the day off with God's blessing.
The young people enjoyed the walk as well as the time spent together and the feedback from their side was very positive.
The day concluded with a short fellowship and a meal to still the hunger and the thirst of the day's activity.

On the evening of Friday 29th of May the Young People gathered in Conville congregation for their Young People G2G .
The G2G focused on the Onboarding of confirmands into the Young People body of Christ. The topic presented was "Me and My Minister". The Young people had lots of fun and it was a great learning experience.

On Monday 18 May 2026 the ministers of George East district gathered together for their 5th training session. This session was titled "Me and My balance" and focused on the importance as well as the challenges of living a natural and spiritually balanced life.
The topic was very informative and received positive feedback from the ministers who were present.
