Ditshego Shoebox Surprise 🎁

Ditshego is a non-profit that looks after vulnerable children from the Mooiplaas informal settlement. Their aftercare gives about 205 children love, safety, education and balanced meals.

Most of these children rarely get new clothes, because their family's money goes to food, transport and school. This Christmas we can change that, and we need sponsors.

Each shoebox should have:
✔ A brand new outfit (a dress for a girl, pants and a shirt for a boy)
✔ Underwear
✔ Body lotion
✔ Soap and a face cloth
✔ Sweets
✔ One accessory (hair clip, jewellery, hat, sunglasses, etc.)

Please do not include nuts, sweets that melt or go off, or anything political or racial. Wrap the lid separately so it can be lifted off.

Sign up to sponsor a child here:
https://www.ditshegochristmasgifts.org.za

You'll get an email with your child's details and a label to stick on the box.

📅 Drop-off: 1 to 8 November 2026
📍 West View Methodist Church, after the church services or at the church office

Please share this so more children get a box.
