"When I say I'm a woman"

When I say I'm a woman,
Please don't limit what that means.
Please don't generalise.
Please don't use a
gender binary lens
'Men' do this
'Women' are like that

Have you considered
that i might be bigender
Identifying with both

I'm not limited
in how i express myself
The way I dress
could be perceived
as masculine sometimes
Yet I'm still a woman

The roles I play are not
a woman trying to be a man
I lead with confidence
I earn an income
I provide

That doesn't mean I'm trying to
compete with or be a man
I don't believe in stereo types
You can be a home maker
And i can be a mechanic
You can nurture the children
And I can put out the trash

Or visa versa

When I say I'm a woman,
I mean I am me
Living out my strengths
Exploring my talents
Learning to lean into my intuition,
to give credence to my emotions,
Challenging my physical capabilities,
Being brave and daring
Running the risk of failure
Constantly

When I say I'm a woman,
I mean I am
Born out of Divine Love
A reflection of God
Who holds within God's being
the entire gender spectrum
and is not limited by
cultural norms
created by humans

When I say I'm a woman,
I'm "them"

So please don't limit who i am
in a single word.
Don't assume you know me

I'm a beloved child of God.
The universe is in my bones.
The sky is my limit.
I am Infinity ∞
I am wom~n

A message of love and remembrance for Coco.

With deep sadness, we mourn the loss of our beloved sibling, Coco, who passed away at 3am this morning.

Coco’s life mattered. Her presence mattered. And as we grieve this profound loss, we hold close the memory of our sibling and the love sher shared with those around her.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Booth Memorial Hospital, and especially Matron Russouw, for the care shown to Coco during their final days. We are also deeply grateful to Yvette Andrews for helping Coco receive the care, compassion and dignity she deserved at the end of her life.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to Rudie and the team at Streetscapes for the care, support and humanity they showed Coco. In a time of immense sorrow, every act of kindness made a difference, and we will carry that gratitude with us.

Rest peacefully, Coco. You were loved, you are mourned, and you will not be forgotten. 🕊️❤️

Because of your courage, Troy, millions of LGBTQ+ people around the world found a spiritual home, realized they were beloved children of God, and stood up for their civil rights. You didn't just build a church; you saved lives, broke barriers, and rewrote the history of faith and activism.
