Greetings Family

I invite you all to the RMC Discipleship Class Seminar Series. This series is a training for class leaders and members alike intending to impart knowledge and skills regarding Classes or Discipleship Groups. It clarifies the intention of the class system in the Methodist movement and shows the qualities of a class leader as a good shepherd.

The seminar series will run every Thursday from the 18th of June 2026 to the 2nd of July 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM online via Zoom (details in the attached poster). It will also be broadcasted on the Wesley Guild SA page. The in-person session will be held on Saturday, 4th July, starting at Noon, at CK Storey Hall, located on the church premises.

This week’s seminar will be led by Rev. Philani Dlamini from Empangeni Circuit in the Natal Coastal District.

As Methodists, I urge all of us to attend these sessions so we can grow together, both spiritually and physically.

Greetings Family. This coming Sunday we continue with our Rhona Mission Drive. This Sunday our theme is the Youth of 1976. We celebrate the courageous generation of young people who led the historic Soweto Uprising against the oppressive apartheid regime.

In honour of their great sacrifice, we will be praying for our young people. We will pray for divine guidance and protection. We will pray for those in school, those looking for opportunities and those in the work place.

We therefore invite all family to come on Sunday and celebrate with us on Sunday at 11am by giving generously to God's work through the Rosebank Methodist Church.

As the theme in the 1976 youth, our Dress Code will be School Uniform or School Blazers.

The Rosebank Methodist Church congregated yesterday in order to receive new members into God's Kingdom through Baptism and Confirmation. It was a sacred moment in which we were reminded that God is Never Too Busy to Save Us.

Hello family. This Sunday we continue with our Rhona Mission Drive. The theme of the day is Fellowiship Sunday where we celebrate all of our members who are not in uniformed organizations.

We celebrate them as valued and vital members of our community. The Dress Code for this Sunday will be Dressed to the Nines. Come therefore in your best to give thanks to God, prepared to give generously and sacrificially for our Fellowship Sunday.

Today on Pentecost and Aldersgate Sunday we once again came before God in thanksgiving during Rhona season. Today our Theme was Celebrating Work and Praying for those Seeking Employment. Our dress code was Come dressed for work, or dressed for the field that you want to be employed in.

God was wirshipped
God was petitioned
God released His blessings

Good morning family. Tomorrow we continue with the Rhona Mission Drive. The theme for this Sunday is Celebrating Employment and Praying for those Seeking Employment. The Dress Code is coming dressed as if you are going to work (Work Clothes) or come dressed for the work or field that you want to work in. Let us come prepared at the 11am Service to thank God for the work (sustenance) that He has given us and to also ask for work (sustenance) for those are not working in their field of choice yet.

It is not a coincidence that we pray for sustenance while we Celebrate Pentecost! The gift of the Holy Spirit! See you all on tomorrow and many blessings to all!
