Yesterday we celebrated the wondrous of gift of women for our Rhona Mission Fund. We also grieved the violence and pain that women are continually subjected to. The dress code was black and a touch of purple. 🖤💜

Beloveds, Join us this Sunday as we continue our Rhona season, this week we gather in gratitude to remember and honour our beloved family members and friends who have departed from this earthly life.

Though they are no longer with us, their love, wisdom, kindness, and legacy continue to live on in our hearts. Together, we will give thanks to God for the precious gift of their lives, the memories we cherish, and the enduring impact they have had on us.

Come with a heart filled with gratitude as we celebrate lives well lived, find comfort in God’s presence, and rejoice in the hope that love transcends even death.

The Dress Code is black with a touch of white.

Thabang January as he will taking us through the topic "Understanding the tenets of Wesleyan Spirituality". I invite you all to the RMC Discipleship Class Seminar Series. This series is a training for class leaders and members alike intending to impart knowledge and skills regarding Classes or Discipleship Groups. As we continue this week, tomorrow's session will be led by Rev. Monde Memeza currently serving in Soshanguve Circuit in the Limpopo District. He will lead a session entitled "The Class Leader As a Shepherd"

The details on joining the sessions on Zoom are on the poster and the sessions themselves will be live on the Wesley Guild SA page.

As Methodists, I once again urge all of us to attend these sessions so we can grow together, both spiritually and physically.

Greetings Family

I invite you all to the RMC Discipleship Class Seminar Series. This series is a training for class leaders and members alike intending to impart knowledge and skills regarding Classes or Discipleship Groups. It clarifies the intention of the class system in the Methodist movement and shows the qualities of a class leader as a good shepherd.

The seminar series will run every Thursday from the 18th of June 2026 to the 2nd of July 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM online via Zoom (details in the attached poster). It will also be broadcasted on the Wesley Guild SA page. The in-person session will be held on Saturday, 4th July, starting at Noon, at CK Storey Hall, located on the church premises.

This week’s seminar will be led by Rev. Philani Dlamini from Empangeni Circuit in the Natal Coastal District.

As Methodists, I urge all of us to attend these sessions so we can grow together, both spiritually and physically.

Greetings Family. This coming Sunday we continue with our Rhona Mission Drive. This Sunday our theme is the Youth of 1976. We celebrate the courageous generation of young people who led the historic Soweto Uprising against the oppressive apartheid regime.

In honour of their great sacrifice, we will be praying for our young people. We will pray for divine guidance and protection. We will pray for those in school, those looking for opportunities and those in the work place.

We therefore invite all family to come on Sunday and celebrate with us on Sunday at 11am by giving generously to God's work through the Rosebank Methodist Church.

As the theme in the 1976 youth, our Dress Code will be School Uniform or School Blazers.

The Rosebank Methodist Church congregated yesterday in order to receive new members into God's Kingdom through Baptism and Confirmation. It was a sacred moment in which we were reminded that God is Never Too Busy to Save Us.
