Christ Church Strand-CCS CHRIST CHURCH STRAND WAS PLANTED IN 2007. We preach that people should repent and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a bible centred church.

Sunday Sermon | Exodus 1:8–21
Today we were reminded that what God has planned, opposition cannot stop. We looked at how Pharaoh tried to stop the growth of God’s people through oppression, but his plans failed.
We also reflected on the faith of Shiphrah and Puah, two Hebrew midwives who feared God more than Pharaoh. They chose to obey God even under pressure, and God honoured their faithfulness.
A powerful reminder: Fear God, not people. What God has planned cannot be stopped.

Women’s Conference – A Time of Fellowship

What a blessed time as women from Christ Church Khayelitsha, Ubabalo Nethemba, Christ Church Khayamandi, and Christ Church Strand gathered for a wonderful Women’s Conference, hosted by Christ Church Strand.
It was a beautiful time of worship, sharing God’s Word, prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. We thank God for bringing us together as one family in Christ, to encourage and strengthen one another.
Different churches, one Lord, one faith, one family. ❤️

It was a sad moment as we said goodbye to Mrs Khanyenda, who has been part of our Sewing Project for many years. She joined the project in 2011 and has made a lasting impact by teaching and empowering many people through her skills. Some of those she taught have gone on to become fashion designers.
As Christ Church Strand, we are truly grateful for her dedication, contribution, and the lives she has touched over the years. We wish her safe travels as she returns to Zimbabwe and pray that God blesses her with a wonderful and fulfilling new chapter in life.
You will be greatly missed, Mrs Khanyenda. ❤️🙏🏽

Today at our Soup Kitchen, we had the privilege of having Bishop Makapela share the Word of God from Ezekiel 37:3.
He reminded and encouraged us that, even when life feels hopeless and people have lost hope, God is still able to bring life, restoration, and hope. The Word of God reminds us that our situation is never beyond God's power.
We thank Bishop Makapela for encouraging us with the Word and reminding us to keep our hope in God. 🙏🏽

Today, we continued with our series “Faith in Impossible Situations.” The title of today’s sermon was “Our Faith Is Targeted,” based on Daniel 6.
We were reminded to remain faithful to God and stand firm in our faith, just as Daniel refused to bow down to other gods. In the same way, we are called to remain faithful to Jesus, even when our faith is tested and targeted.
