We speak a lot and listen too little... 🗣️👂
Part of the problem with talking too much is that people struggle to live up to what they say. Promises are made and we say a lot of what we "will do", but how much do we actually do of what we say?

Maybe we should talk less, and listen more. That will also make it easier to stay true to our word, because we don't run our mouthes. Be intentional with your word. 🗣️

🌽 is a sin against God.
If Jesus teaches us that looking at someone in a lustful way is already a form of adultery, then it is easy for us as Christians to set boundaries with 🌽. An industry that is purely created to be viewed with lustful intent. 👀

Be careful with your thoughts, because sometimes what we think is already a sin against God. 😶‍🌫️

What you think is up to you, not those around you 🫣
"They asked for it" is not valid, and even JESUS said so! In Matthew 5:27-28, Jesus teaches us dat adultery is not just about the physical act, but also LOOKING with lustful thoughts. What you think about someone is up to you and thinking lustfully about someone, is your sin. Not the one being looked at for "asking for it". 👀

Cheating is damaging 💔
We all know someone who has been through the pain of trust being ripped away and see what it can do. Not just to the people involved, but those around them as well. 😢

Therefore the 10 Commandments remind us that adultery is not just about staying faithful , but being committed to not putting your partner through that pain! 👩‍❤️‍👨

Love they Neighbour... That's It! 💙🫂
Jesus says that we must love our neighbour as we do ourselves. It is as simple as that! Not the "neighbour that thinks like me", not the "neighbour that looks like me", not the "neighbour that sounds like me"!

" ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ " - Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

Is God a friend in your house, or just a acquaintance? 👥
If He would walk past you on the street, how would you greet Him and would He at least acknowledge you? Live closely to Jesus and know Him with everything that you are! Not just your head, not just your heart, but your whole being! 🫂

God is our father, so do you live out His image? 👀
We are God's children and therefore He commands us to Love our Neighbour! We cannot be in contradiction with His word if we are His children, so then how can we hate those around us (or at the very least, not love those around us...) 💔

Love those around you, because you are His child!

Taking a life is not just about the physical act... It's about how I interact with others. ♥️

What you think, feel and handle others can become a way of taking life from others... So when you say this is an easy command, read Matthew 5:21-22 again and think a bit. Are you really innocent from this command? Do you REALLY understand what is being said with 'not taking a life'?

Let's give life to those around us!
