Thank you to everyone who participated in our 9th annual Walk for Water - in partnership with - this past Sunday after worship. The weather was amazing and so many friends came out to support the cause. We raised $3800 and can even brag that we had walkers in France (see the last image).

LCC Youth: Summer is kicking off tonight at 6:30!!

Students entering grades 6 through 12 are invited for fellowship, snacks, games and study! Just a great time to stay connected over the summer! All welcome - friends too!!

Congrats to the grads we were able to honor in person (Ruby Ramirez and Jack Oswell) as well as a in absence (Justin Pesek)! Your LCC family is so proud to see you pass this milestone and eager to see what God has planned for you! 🎓

Picture yourself walking through these door tomorrow morning - amped to hear the word and honor our grads at 9:30, and prepped and ready to walk for a great cause (after grabbing a cupcake🧁)!!

It’s not too late to take part in our 9th Walk for Water 💧🧡, raising awareness and funds for clean water in the Democratic Republic of Congo! Check out the table tomorrow morning and our coordinator Kay Kelly will get you all set!

Our primary business here Linwood Covenant is to help folks find a relationship with God and a community to grow in - BUT we are not above helping folks find their lost jackets, Bibles and Tupperware.

Stop by this week to claim your hoodie - or to find Jesus - before everything remaining in our Lost and Found gets donated!

On June 3 (NEXT WEDNESDAY) LCC Youth kicks off a new series called “In Repair.” Honest conversations about brokenness, restoration, relationships, and the hope Jesus brings into real life.

Wednesday nights this summer will include:
Bible study
Prayer
Ice cream
Yard games
Friends
And space to grow together

Starts Wednesday, June 3 and will take place each week (unless noted). The night runs 6:30 to 8:00pm

Bring a friend and come hang out with us this summer. 🛠️🍦☀️

Where does the long weekend find you?

• Out on the lake or up at the cabin?
• Getting spring yard work done?
• Maybe a couple of nice afternoon naps?

Well, wherever it finds you, we'll be ready for you at worship tomorrow at 9:30 — both in person and online — and hope we can be a part of it.

*Tomorrow there will be no children's worship or Living Stones. Nursery will be unstaffed, but open for use.*

Last Wednesday, Pastor Chris and LCC Kids Wednesday Night Coordinator Nancy Benser celebrated with their Midweek volunteers on a successful year serving the children and youth of the community.

Midweek would not be possible without the support of volunteers who donate their time week after week to keep things up and running - and kids under control ;-). Not only the ministry volunteers, but also the large number of people cooking/serving the meal each week (headed up by Denise Lyons), folks doing check ins and those that manage set up and take down. To those people - THANK YOU for being the hands and feet of Jesus while serving and welcoming our community!

Shockingly, the teams for NEXT YEAR begin forming now - so if serving in any of these capacities is something God is calling you to, please reach out to Nancy, Chris or the church office!

FIKAs at LCC are always a big event. This Thursday at 10, join us for renowned historian and presenter Doug Ohman, who will ensure we enjoy our refreshment with a lovely side of U.S. history.

No RSVP or preregistration necessary. Simply show up - regardless of age, occupation or background - potentially bringing a snack to share Thursday at LCC!

Take a shower this morning? Took your morning vitamins with a big glass of water? Or, maybe you grabbed nice clean clothes from the laundry?

You have access to clean water!

Join us on May 31 for the annual Walk for Water 6K to raise awareness and funds for those that don't in the Democratic Republic of the Congo! Every registration provides not only access to water, but also time that doesn't need to be sent seeking it out.

REGISTER BY 5/16 to ensure you get your race bib and T-shirt at the link below and then stick around to walk, stroll or run with us in Minnesota's beautiful nature after service Sunday, May 31!
