Howie the Howler Monkey has an exciting update from Rainforest Falls!

The rainforest at St. Paul Lutheran is coming together beautifully, and Howie is starting to feel right at home in his new rainforest habitat. He can hardly wait to welcome all of his friends to this year's Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School.

Join Howie and his rainforest buddies, Seymour the Glass Frog, Tango the Quetzal, and Dottie the Ocelot as they explore the nature of God and the wonder of God's creation while discovering more about God's love for us.

The adventure begins on Monday! We can't wait to see you at Rainforest Falls VBS! Find out more and register today: bit.ly/447qDu3

What a wonderful afternoon of fellowship and fun!

Last Sunday, 32 members and friends of our church enjoyed a scenic riverboat cruise from Stillwater to Hudson and back along the beautiful St. Croix River.

With perfect weather, amazing food, and great conversation, it was a memorable way to kick off the summer together. A special thank you to Carole England for organizing this outing on behalf of our West of 55 Senior Group.

Pollinator Sunday Celebrates God's Creation

In partnership with the EcoFaith Network NE Minnesota Synod, on Sunday, June 14, St. Paul Lutheran Church will observe Pollinator Sunday, sponsored by our Creation Care Team. This special day invites us to reflect on our calling as Christians to care for God's creation and to recognize the role that pollinators play in sustaining life on earth.

Pollinators, including bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, moths, beetles, and other insects, are responsible for helping many plants reproduce, including many fruits, vegetables, and flowering plants. Healthy pollinator populations contribute to thriving ecosystems, abundant harvests, and beautiful landscapes.

Pollinator Sunday connects us to a larger effort within our church. In 2023, the Northeastern Minnesota Synod committed to becoming a Pollinator Synod. The initiative encourages congregations, camps, and individuals to establish pollinator-friendly habitat and to "pollinate" care for creation throughout the synod. Congregations that create and maintain pollinator plots can be recognized as Pollinator Sanctuaries, joining a growing network of churches committed to environmental stewardship.

As people of faith, we believe that creation is a gift from God and that caring for the earth is an expression of our gratitude and discipleship. Pollinator Sunday provides an opportunity to celebrate the wonder of creation, learn practical ways to support pollinators, and renew our commitment to being faithful stewards of the world God loves.

We hope you will join us for worship on June 14 as we celebrate Pollinator Sunday and give thanks for the many ways God's creation works together to sustain life.
