Today's message looks into the origin of marriage. It should sanctify in you a high view of marriage, helping you work to honor it as God intends. Marriage doesn't fix people. It didn't keep Adam and Eve from falling into sin and plunging all creation into futility. The gospel fixes people. And in the face of death the gospel of Jesus saves us from sin and points us toward an event that will eclipse anything we've ever known. The Resurrection! May God bless His word to you.

Hebrews chapter 13 and verse 7 reads, “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.” and again vs 17 reads, “Obey your leaders and submit to them—for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account”. When it comes time to stand before God and be judged, will you be good enough to enter His Kingdom? In today's passage, Jesus highlights an essential element of the gospel that saves people. It's not the only essential element, but without it none are saved. This passage is sometimes called, “The Sinners Prayer”, and no one will ever see heaven unless they experience for themselves what Jesus teaches here. May God bless His word to you.

Unlike many Christians today, Jesus does not consider eschatology unimportant. In fact He presents it as essential in keeping a Christian from losing heart. Knowing that it would be a long time before His disciples would see Him again, Jesus spoke about the need for Him to suffer and die, to go away for a while, and then return to bring justice on the earth and reign on His throne. In the meantime, His disciples would face discouragement. Prayer regarding and hastening His return in glory would be vital in keeping their hearts strong. May God bless His word to you.
