ABH received two donations of 1/4 Cow each. We are going to auction off the beef. Place your bid for Beef #1 or Beef #2 in the comments or PM us with your per pound bid and which beef you want. Bids begin at $3.60 per pound. Bidding ends on September 4.

Details:
Beef #1 to be picked up by winning bidder in Afton, IA on approximately Sept. 18.

Beef #2 to be picked up by winning bidder in Des Moines, IA on approximately Sept. 29.

Winner pays ABH the winning bid price per pound once we know the number of pounds. Winner pays the locker processing fee to the locker when you pick up the beef (approximately $250.00).

Ladies, please join us this September as we study the book of Galatians together!

We’ll be using Elizabeth Woodson’s 8-session study as we walk verse by verse through Paul’s letter and discover the freedom we have in Christ.

Two options to join:

Wednesday mornings | 9:00 AM - starts September 9 (childcare provided Wednesday mornings)

OR

Monday evenings | 6:30 PM - starts September 14

We meet every other week.

Sign up on church center. (Please note there are two sign ups, one for Wednesday morning and one for Monday evening, so make sure you sign up under the one you want to join.)

Cost: $15, includes the study book.

We all long for peace and freedom, but so often we look to things like our accomplishments, relationships, possessions, or even our own abilities to fill that need. Galatians reminds us that true freedom isn’t found in these things, it’s found in Jesus.
