Marked = Anointed, Gifted, Called, Graced & Chosen!

John 3:16 God chose You!

You are Approved by God!
Gen. 1:31 Says; It is Good!

God wants you to see yourself the way he sees you; Loved & valuable! Eph. 2:10 God's Masterpiece

David was marked by God to be king! I sam 16:12-13

Jerm was MARKED as prophet to the nations. Jerm. 1:4

Gideon Judges 6:12 That Prophetic word changed him and he was used by God to free a nation

You are marked by God: Look at your neighbor and tell them! I am MARKED by God!

Each of these individuals were MARKED and so are we MARKED by God on Purpose, with a Purpose, and for a Purpose!

Being marked by God is a Holy thing!

Some of you have been MARKED with athletic ability; musical ability, techknowledge, speaking, creative, ect! To impact your world.

Ps 27:4 delight yourself in the Lord

Ps 139:14 You are fearfully and wonderfully made

As the esteemed philosopher, Dr. Seuss says, “Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is you-er than you.”

Look at your neighbor and tell them…I am Fearfully & Wonderfully made!!

God wants to use you to mark others lives over and over again! [On your team, in your clubs, in your classroom, your friendships, ect…

WHAT ARE YOU LEAVING BEHIND?

Jesus or self, Faith or doubt, Encouragement or discouragement, Forgiveness?

II Cor 5:21 We are called to reunite others to him!

My life has been marked by so many…Believers being Jesus to me!

We MARK people whether we mean to or not! Let’s MARK someone for the glory of God

Wired Teen Youth had their Annual Scavenger Hunt Food Drive last night. The teens collected over 2,600 food items! Pastor Mike said, “It was awesome to see all they collected and how excited they were to personally give to help others and make an eternal impact. This community is better because they are here and the choices they are making to put their faith in action.”
The food that was collected during the youth Weigh-in & the Scavenger Hunt will go to help 6 families and the remainder of the food will go to community pantries.
James 2:17 (NLT) “So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.”

It is time to pack on the pounds, so that others have food this holiday season. Hebrews 13:16 “And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are sacrifices that please God.”
So bring your back pack full of non-perishable food items this Wednesday night and we will drop it on the scale.

Our teens will be selling these chocolate tubs as a fundraiser from 9 am thru 5 pm on Saturday, Dec. 7th at Fareway & Hy-Vee. They are only $12 and they help our teens go to summer camp. Stop by and see us. You can also message me and I can get you some. - Pastor Mike

These teens & adults received over 1,200 food items and $189 in donations last night. Our community is always so generous during this event every year.

In addition to these donations, Pastor Mike went to Hy-Vee before Thanksgiving with a coupon to buy 7 hams and get 7 turkeys free. When he was at the counter buying them a woman from the community asked what this was for. Pastor Mike told her about the Weigh-In, the Scavenger Hunt and that we would be giving the food to families in our community. She said she wanted to be part of this event and paid the bill!

Tonight is our annual scavenger hunt food drive. Teens will be teaming up with friends and an adult from our church to go collect non-perishable food items in our community. The food collected will help local families in the community as well as the Middle School Pantry and the Multipurpose center.
