This weekend the congregations of the Southeastern Iowa Synod, ELCA gathered in assembly at First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. Miriam, Leon, Kristi, and Pr. Erick were there on behalf of St. Paul Lutheran. Bishop Amy Current was re-elected on the first ballot to continue serving as the Bishop of the SE Iowa Synod.

We celebrated our Winterset High School graduates today! Our quilters recognized each of them with a denim quilt that they will take into their futures, reminding them of our Christian inter-connectedness and love from this congregation. Congratulations to Jace, Abby, Morgan, Brooke (l-r) and their families.

The ELCA Lutheran congregations of the Southeastern Iowa Synod are gathered in assembly on Friday and Saturday. We will be electing (or re-electing) the Bishop of the SE Iowa Synod. Leon, Miriam, Kristi, and Pr. Erick are attending on behalf of St. Paul. Please pray for them and for all who are there representing Christ's Church.
