2/42 STARTS THIS SUNDAY!

We’re launching a brand-new Sunday morning group for college-age and young adults, and high school seniors are invited too.

2/42 comes from Acts 2:42 and the picture we see there of people growing in faith, building real community, sharing life, and learning together. That’s what we want this group to become.

Join us THIS Sunday at 9:00 AM at 64 Darlington Ave. for coffee, a light breakfast, Bible study, discussion, and time to connect before we walk next door for worship at Venture at 10.

Church at the park this weekend was great! Remember, this coming Sunday is Serve Together Sunday, so we'll have projects around town and on our campus instead of normal Services. We'll be back to normal Sunday services at the building on Sept. 6th. Thank you so much to Rachel from Sonshine Coffee Co. for bringing your skills to the fun! If anyone local has a need for a coffe vendor for your event we 10 out of 10 recommend Sonshine! :)

Reminder: Venture Church will be having our annual "Church at the Park" service tomorrow at 10:30 AM. Longleaf Park shelter 5.

Don't forget to bring a chair, blanket, or hammock. Free lunch &, splash pad party for kids afterward!

Never a dull moment! :) Thank you so much to this amazing crew who showed up with zero notice tonight after 7:30pm to help clean up the building. The torrential rainfall we got this afternoon caused some major flooding at the rear of our building that had nowhere to go but into the back doors and under the walls into our auditorium and the rooms at the back of the building.

We’re so thankful to our friends at Iglesia Cristo Viene Ya, who found it when they came in for band practice tonight and also got to work soaking up the water. We’re also thankful that our building’s concrete floors are pretty well suited for a situation like this and that there was no damage to anything.

This crew showed up with shop vacs, mops, towels, and a great attitude and got everything cleaned up very quickly. Though some of the heroes aren’t pictured, you can see many of them in this fun picture from our lobby, where they gathered to pray together and eat some freezy pops, probably left over from VBS, while they hung out for a few minutes before leaving.

We’ve already spoken to someone about additional drainage mitigation that may be installed next week to hopefully prevent future indoor water parties. Thanks, guys!
