I Am: Part 12
I Am the Light of the World
Day 1: From Darkness to Light
Reading: John 9:1-12

Devotional: The blind man's journey began with simple obedience—washing mud from his eyes. He didn't understand what Jesus was doing, yet he followed the command. Your spiritual journey starts the same way: not with complete understanding, but with obedience to God's word. When Jesus touches your life, you may not immediately comprehend the fullness of who He is, but as you obey His simple commands, your spiritual vision becomes clearer. The man went from calling Jesus "the man they call Jesus" to recognizing Him as Lord. What command is Jesus asking you to obey today? Don't wait for complete understanding—just wash the mud away and watch your vision transform.

I Am: Part 11
The Bread of Life
Day 5: Will You Leave or Will You Consume?
Reading: John 6:60-68
Devotional: When Jesus preached hard truths about eating His flesh and drinking His blood, many disciples turned away and deserted Him. They wanted daily bread but not the parts that made them uncomfortable. They wanted a word but not the whole Word. Jesus turned to the twelve and asked, "Are you also going to leave?" Peter's response reveals the heart of a true disciple: "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life." This separates the sheep from the goats. Will you consume the whole Word, even when it challenges you, or will you walk away when it gets uncomfortable? The question Jesus poses today is simple: Will you consume or will you leave?

Reflection Question: What hard truth in God's Word are you tempted to walk away from?

Closing Prayer: Lord, thank You for being the Bread of Life. Help me to present myself before You daily, turning from my sin and facing You. Teach me to consume Your Word, not just seek a word. Give me strength to receive all of Your truth, even the hard sayings. I choose to remain in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I Am: Part 11
The Bread of Life
Day 4: The Bread That Gives Eternal Life
Reading: John 6:30-40
Devotional: The crowd wanted daily manna like their ancestors, but Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again." The miraculous sign they sought was standing before them, the Word made flesh. The true bread isn't a one-time feeding or a daily prophetic word; it's Jesus Himself, consumed through His Word. Unless we eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, we have no eternal life within us. This isn't about physical consumption but spiritual. Daily consumption of God's Word sustains us as we traverse this wilderness called life. There is nothing outside God's Word that will sustain you. Nothing.

Reflection Question: How consistently are you consuming the Bread of Life?

The Bread of Life
Day 3: Immerse Yourself in His Word
Reading: Deuteronomy 8:2-4; John 6:22-27
Devotional: So many people want a word from God but fail to get in His Word. The crowd pursued Jesus across the Sea of Galilee seeking another feeding, another word to get them through the day. But Jesus confronted their hearts: "You want to be with me because I feed you, not because you understand the miraculous signs." They wanted Jesus on their terms. We do the same when we seek a prophetic word instead of consuming Scripture daily. God humbled Israel by feeding them manna to teach them that people don't live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from God's mouth. He is still speaking. If you immerse yourself in His Word, you will always have a word from God.

Reflection Question: Are you seeking a word or getting in the Word?

I Am: Part 11
The Bread of Life
Day 2: God Provides What You Need, Not Just What You Want
Reading: Exodus 16:31; John 6:8-14
Devotional: God gave the Israelites quail in the evening and manna in the morning, but notice He only spoke of the abundance of bread, not meat. Meat represents desire beyond necessity; bread represents what sustains. God's primary provision addresses our needs, not our wants. Bread sustains; meat gratifies. When Jesus fed the multitude, He multiplied five loaves and two fish, ending with twelve baskets of bread. God doesn't waste anything He purposes in your life. What seems insignificant in your hands becomes miraculous in His. The question is: Have you surrendered what little you have? Little is much when it's in God's hands, but only if you'll release it to Him.

Reflection Question: What "little" are you holding back from God that He wants to multiply?

I Am: Part 11
The Bread of Life
Day 1: Presenting Yourself Before God
Reading: Exodus 16:9-15
Devotional: The Israelites couldn't see God's glory until they turned from their complaining and faced Him. The word "present" means to draw near, to position yourself facing God, forsaking sin. When we turn from our sin, we turn toward the One we've sinned against. This morning, God asks you the same question He asked Israel: Will you present yourself before Me? Your sin may not be complaining, but whatever keeps you from facing God must be addressed. The moment you turn, His glory becomes visible. God doesn't hide His presence from repentant hearts. He waits for you to face Him, to forsake what separates you, and to see His awesome glory in the cloud of His presence.

Reflection Question: What sin is keeping you from facing God today?
