Pastor Greg and his family moved to Wilmington in 2010 to plant Coastal Community Baptist Church. Greg and Suzanne both have business degrees from Liberty University and Greg earned his Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009. Greg served as Executive Pastor and Worship Leader at Mid-Way Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC for 5 years before being called by God to come to Wilmington to start Coastal.

💧 If you have put your faith in Christ but have never made a public profession of your faith through baptism, there’s no better time than this Sunday, June 14, to take that step of obedience and celebration!

Baptism is a beautiful testimony of the life-changing work Christ has done in your heart, and we would love to celebrate with you.

🎂 During staff meeting, we had the joy of celebrating a very special birthday—our Executive Pastor, Chad!

Chad has a genuine heart for the Lord, for Coastal, and for every person involved in the ministry here. His love for people, unwavering commitment, and faithful leadership are evident in all that he does. The countless hours he invests behind the scenes, his dedication to every facet of ministry, and his passion for serving others are truly immeasurable.

We are incredibly grateful for the impact he has on our church family and for the way he continually points others to Christ through his example.

🎉 “SO”…“WITH THAT”…if you have the “OPPORTUNITY”, please take a moment to send Chad some birthday wishes ([email protected]) and let him know how much he is loved and appreciated!

🙌🏻 So many exciting things happened on campus this weekend!

👋 We were thrilled to officially introduce our new Family Pastor, Jason, along with his family. We are so grateful to welcome the Smith family to Coastal and look forward with great anticipation to all that the Lord will do through them as they serve Him here.

🎓 We also shared a special time of recognition and prayer for our 2026 graduates. Congratulations to each of you on this significant milestone! We are praying for the Lord’s continued guidance and blessing as you step into this next season of life.

🛝 Over the weekend, our littles and their moms gathered for a fun morning of fellowship, playtime, and a tasty treat on the playground. It was a wonderful time together! If you’re a Mother of a Little Disciple, be sure to stay tuned for future events—you won’t want to miss the fun.

🙏🏻 Prayer cards for VBS were distributed following the service. If you didn’t receive one from our sweet little helpers, we’ve included a photo so you can join us in praying for this important week of ministry.

💪🏻 There has been a lot of work happening around campus over the past few weeks thanks to some amazing volunteers who are using their skills and talents to serve the Lord and bless others!

🔨 Projects have included sanding, painting (LOTS of painting!), replacing ceiling tiles, cleaning throughout the Children’s and Student’s Building, and even constructing a new wall in the Administrative Area to create space for additional staff.

📖 As we see these improvements taking shape, we are reminded of the skilled workers in the Old Testament who faithfully used their God-given abilities in the building of the temple.

🙌🏻 We are incredibly grateful for the sacrifice of time, energy, and talent from those who have worked so diligently to help make these improvements possible. If you were not pictured, please accept our apology, but know that you are deeply appreciated. More importantly, we serve a God who sees every act of service and every sacrifice made for His glory.
