WHEN FAITH CONFRONTS THE IMPOSSIBLE 🏰🙌

Sunday, Dr. Matt Hogan continued our Sunday School Chronicles series with a powerful look at Joshua 1, 5, and 6—and the moment God’s people faced what seemed impossible: Jericho.

Joshua’s leadership was built on four pillars:
📖 God’s Promise
🙌 God’s Presence
🧭 God’s Precepts
💪 God’s Power

And as Joshua stepped into the mission God had given him, we were reminded of seven powerful truths:
1️⃣ God forms His people before He leads His people.
2️⃣ Victory begins with worship.
3️⃣ God’s commands defied human logic.
4️⃣ Faith grows best in the soil of obedience.
5️⃣ The battle belongs to the Lord.
6️⃣ God’s grace finds people in unexpected places.
7️⃣ The cost of defying God.

“Jericho is whatever looks impossible, immovable and impenetrable—Jericho represents anything standing in the way between you & God’s promises.”

What is your Jericho today?

Whatever seems impossible, remember: God is still faithful, and He is still at work. ❤️

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WEEKEND AT COASTAL! 💕🙌

Saturday’s Titus 2 Women’s Event was such a beautiful morning! We loved the wonderful connections, sound teaching, meaningful conversations, and deeper discussions during our breakout sessions. 💗

A HUGE thank you to all the ladies who helped make the morning so special—from those who decorated, served on the Welcome Team, helped with check-in, and served in the Café, to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it all come together. We are so grateful for each of you! 🌸

And a special thank you to our Titus 2 panelists, who diligently studied, prepared, and did such an incredible job leading us through the passage and helping us think more deeply about what it means to live out Titus 2. 📖❤️

And of course, a BIG thank you to the Coastal men for serving a delicious brunch and helping make the morning so special! 🥞🥓☕️👏

We’re excited to see how God uses the relationships that began Saturday as we intentionally encourage, connect, and grow together! 💕

Then came Family Worship Sunday!

We absolutely love when our kids join us for “big church”—following along with their sermon notes, worshiping alongside their families, and learning together. What a sweet opportunity to worship as a family! 🙌

We hope you have a wonderful week! We can’t wait to see you again this Sunday! 🩵

FAMILY WORSHIP SUNDAY IS THIS SUNDAY! 🩵🙌

We can’t wait to worship with you this Sunday!

While we love teaching and caring for your kids in Coastal Kids, we also believe there’s something special about children experiencing “big church” and worshiping alongside their families. 💙 This Sunday, we’re excited to welcome our kids into the worship service for Family Worship Sunday! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Coastal Kids will be available for infants–5-year-olds, so you can choose what works best for your family.

Bring the whole family and we’ll see you Sunday! ⛪️✨

Sermon Recap | Our Highest Call!

What is our highest call as believers? To faithfully share the Gospel—and to make sure our message points people to Jesus, not ourselves.

Pastor Aaron Lee challenged us from 1 Corinthians 2:1–5 with four truths about the messenger:

1️⃣ The messenger must be focused.
When we speak to others, our focus must be the Gospel.

2️⃣ The messenger must have godly fear.
We should always have an awe and reverence to rightly divide the Word when speaking with others.

3️⃣ The messenger must be Spirit-filled.
As Warren Wiersbe said of Paul’s preaching, “It was a demonstration, not a performance.” Our message should point people to the power of the Holy Spirit, not our own ability.

4️⃣ The message must be founded on Christ alone.
A Christ-centered messenger desires for people to trust God—not the messenger.
Church was never meant to be personality driven. It is, and always should be, Jesus-driven. ❤️

🙏🏻 May our words, our lives, and our witness point others to Christ so that their faith rests “on the power of God.” — 1 Corinthians 2:5
