What a wonderful Open House today at Anchor Weekday Preschool ! 🍎📚💙

It was such a joy welcoming our preschool families back and seeing so many excited little faces ready for a new year! We are so thankful for our incredible teachers, staff, students, and families who make AWP such a special part of Anchor Church.

As we prepare for the first day of school this Tuesday, we’re praying for a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of Jesus! 🙏✏️❤️

Teachers, remember: God has specifically placed each student in your classroom for a reason and a purpose. You are called to make a difference! ❤️

Parents, as you send your kids off today, pray over their teachers, friends, and classrooms, and trust God with this new year. 🙏

And to our Anchor Weekday Preschool families—we can’t wait to see you! 💙 Our first day back is September 8, and we’re so excited for another year of learning, growing, and growing closer to Jesus together!

What an awesome morning at Anchor Men’s Breakfast! Even with the rain pouring down, our men still showed up, gathered around the table, shared some great food, and enjoyed some good fellowship. 🙌

A BIG thank you to Ginger, Jane, Shelly, and Keith for cooking up an amazing breakfast and serving our men! ❤️🍳

Grateful for a group of men who know that a little rain isn’t going to stop us from coming together!

STARTS THIS EVENING😀✝️

Jesus told His disciples to “teach them all things I have commanded you “ in The Great Commission…but what did Jesus teach them? In “Jesus Said” we’ll be looking at all of the principles Jesus taught in His three years of ministry that will help us walk with the Lord as Believers and be a light to others as well.

🧇✨ A little reminder during breakfast this morning…

I sat down to eat my waffle, poured on some syrup, and when I went to take a bite, I realized it made a perfect cross all on its own! ❤️

Sometimes God reminds us He’s near in the big moments, but sometimes it’s in the smallest, sweetest little things. Yes, even with a waffle 🧇

Start your morning looking for God—in the big AND the small. You might be surprised where you find Him. ✝️☀️

Today we celebrate 250 years of God’s faithfulness throughout our nation’s history. As we enjoy time with family, friends, and fireworks, may we also pause to thank God for the freedoms we often take for granted—and remember the greatest freedom of all is found in Jesus Christ.
