DAY 11/365: HAIR DEUX → HOUSEHOLD NAME
I think we’re figuring out what this little corner of the internet is going to be together.
I’ve been paying attention to what you seem to enjoy, what you respond to, and what starts conversations. And luckily, it seems to be the same things I genuinely love sharing.
Which feels like a pretty good place to start.
What started as 365 days of building HAIR DEUX into a household name is becoming something a little more personal.
Maybe it’s really 365 days of building something while also living a life.
Because maybe you don’t want to hear about cost of goods sold every day. 😂 And frankly, I don’t want to talk about it every day either.
So yes, there will be business. Lots of it.
But there will probably also be houses, clothes, travel, people I love, ideas, mistakes, wins, disappointments, funny stories and all the little things that make life good while I try to build something I’m proud of.
And for those of you who DO want the business building ☕️🫖, today looked like this:
Talked to 10 packaging manufacturers.
Sent a Fleet Feet partnership update.
Designed our Pure Barre collab packaging.
Worked on HAIR DEUX marketing.
Plotted holiday inventory.
Emailed Trailborn about a hopefully VERY fun 2027 event.
Made this video.
And now I’m calling it.
Tomorrow might be business. It might be something completely different.
