Diapers once a month:

Fresh Hope Diaper Depot will resume on June 1st, 2026!

They provide support for individuals and families who are struggling to meet basic necessities by offering diapers and a package of wipes every 30 days.

Appointments are scheduled on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This is what one parent wrote about the food giveaway at a local school and how to access it for your kids:

With the rising food and gas prices, I decided to take advantage of Wichita Public Schools free breakfast and lunch programs. This year they have a to-go site at Southeast High School on top of their dine in options. You sign up the week before on Wednesday and then pick it up the following Wednesday via a drive thru pick up. The picture below shows what we got this week for one kid. Each kid got:

1/2 gallon plus 2 cartons of milk
5 juice boxes
A whole frozen pizza (that was so big I struggled to find a spot in my freezer for it)
5 pop tarts
A bag of baby carrots
2 snack bags of Chex mix
2 frozen fruit drinks/slushies
3 individual sized dried cranberries

For anyone needing some help feeding your children, here’s the link to the website that tells you where the in-person dining options are as well as the link to sign up for to-go meals for next week. https://www.usd259.org/nutrition-services/summerfood
