Happy Wednesday! Today we have our next Daily Bread Devotional and it's from Sis Kassie Waits - she is here with a question for you... Is it avoidance or is it waiting?

So often we say, “ Im waiting on God” when in reality God is waiting on us.

For years, I struggled to believe I was capable of teaching a Bible study. I've come up with every excuse to avoid it. I compared myself to better speakers, more experienced teachers and people who had been doing it far longer than me. In the process, I’ve completely overlooked that God had given me the assignment.

I was so focused on what I lacked that I ignored the truth of who He is.

I forgot that He doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.
I forgot that He is more than enough.

If we’re honest, obedience often feels uncomfortable.
It requires risk.
It exposes insecurity.
It asks us to move before we feel ready.

But delayed obedience is still disobedience.

Think about the moments you’ve felt prompted:
-To forgive someone
-To have a conversation
-To step into something new
-To let go of something God already addressed
-To pray for someone
-To teach that Bible study
-To step forward in a ministry commitment

Did you really need more confirmation… or just more courage?
In Ecclesiastes 11:4, we’re reminded that if we wait for perfect conditions, we’ll never move at all.
There will always be a reason to hesitate. Always another “sign” to look for.
Always a safer time.

But growth doesn’t happen in hesitation. it happens in obedience!
Waiting on God is necessary. There are seasons where He says, “Be still.”

But more often than we admit, He has already spoken and we’re choosing comfort instead of calling.

So this week I encourage us spend time in prayer together and ask God to help us discern the difference between waiting and avoiding. Ask Him to reveal if we have been delaying anything He has assigned us to do. Ask Him for the courage to obey and the faith to trust His plan.

Happy Friday Ladies!
Today we have a next devotional in a series from Sis Kara Cooper. This weeks Fruit of the Spirit is JOY 💛

When I think of joy, I instantly think of the song:
“I’ve got joy on the inside, feels like a fire, can’t keep it in. I’ll keep praising in the midnight the joy of the Lord is my strength.”

But the fruit of the Spirit Joy is not the same as happiness.

Happiness is situational. You might feel happy because you got a raise, your kids behaved at the store, or you finally got that long-awaited date night. But later that same day, stress or anxiety can creep in, and that happiness fades. Happiness comes and goes with circumstances.

But joy, that comes from God.

Joy is what anchors you in the valley because your trust is rooted in the mountaintop with Him.
It’s praising even when the doctor’s report isn’t what you hoped for.
It’s choosing to smile and encourage others when everything around you feels chaotic.
It’s seeking God with confidence, knowing He will guide and sustain you.

In James 1, we are told to “count it all joy” when we face trials. That sounds upside down at first but those trials produce endurance. And when endurance is fully developed, we become mature and complete, lacking nothing.

How can that be?

Scripture tells us, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (1 Corinthians 12:9). And in Nehemiah 8:10, we read that “the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

When we connect these truths, we see something powerful:
When we have the joy of the Lord, we also carry the strength of the Lord.

We may feel weak. We may walk through trials. But God meets us there with His joy and His strength.

To experience this kind of joy, we must stay anchored in Him. This joy does not waver with circumstances. It does not weaken under pressure or disappear in hardship. It is steady, enduring, and everlasting.

When we have the joy of the Lord, we have the strength of the Lord.

The enemy wants to steal your joy because he knows it weakens you, but, you are a child of God. Keep your eyes on heaven. Stay anchored in Him, and joy will follow.

Happy Tuesday Ladies!
Today we have our next Daily Bread Devotional and it's from Sis Bethany Williams. She's here with a beautiful reminder that you're Safe in the Boat 🛶

Safe In the Boat
Brother Bankens preached an incredible sermon Sunday night about broken vessels. If you did not hear it, you should definitely go back and listen.

Something he said really stuck with me. He was talking about Noah’s ark and how Noah was not a skilled boat builder. It was not Noah’s ability or even the materials he used that kept the boat afloat through such a powerful storm. The flood wiped the earth clean, destroyed every living creature outside the ark, and changed the face of the world as they knew it. No man had enough talent or skill to withstand a storm like that.

But Brother Bankens said, “Grace is what kept that boat afloat.”

That hit me.

Because if we are honest, sometimes we spend so much time focusing on the storm that we forget what is actually holding us together. We look at the waves, the wind, the fear, the uncertainty, and we start thinking we are going under. But the same grace that carried Noah through the flood is the same grace carrying us now.

How often are we tossed around in the storms of life and forget that we are still safe in the boat? There are multiple stories in the Bible about storms. Just like God kept Noah safe in the ark, and just like He calmed the storm for the disciples, He keeps you too.

The ride may be bumpy. It may be loud. It may feel scary. There may be moments where you wonder how you are still standing in the middle of everything around you.

But you are safe in the boat.

Not because of your own strength. Not because you have everything figured out. But because God’s grace is sustaining you even in the middle of the storm.

Keep the faith. Keep trusting Him.
You are safe in the boat.

Happy Friday Ladies!

Today we have a new devotional series from Sis Kara Cooper. Over the next several weeks Sis Kara is going to be sharing her heart with us about the Fruits of the Spirit. This week she’s here to share about LOVE ❤️

Fruits of the Spirit: Love

When we think of the fruits of the Spirit, love is usually the first one that comes to mind. After all, the Bible is the greatest love story ever told—and when we think of Jesus, we think of love.

When you look up “love” in the Greek, it is agape—the highest form of love.
Agape is unconditional, self-giving, and intentional. It is not merely an emotion or a feeling, but love expressed through action.

1 Corinthians 13:4–7 says:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

This passage defines the biblical standard of love. And when we think of the greatest example of love, we always return to Jesus, His sacrifice, the ultimate expression of love.

To forgive me before I was even born.
To die on a cross knowing there would be seasons in my life when I wouldn’t acknowledge Him.
And yet, He still chose the cross.

That is love.
Unconditional love.
Agape.

Today, I also think of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
To carry a child before she was married.
To give birth in the humblest of places.
To walk in faith while others misunderstood and condemned her.
To raise the Messiah, knowing her time with Him would be short.
To stand and watch Him die while trusting God’s greater plan.

Oh, what love.
The gentle, steadfast love of a mother.
To love Jesus with her whole heart, knowing that one day it would break for the sake of the world.

These are the examples of love I want my life to reflect.

I want my friends, my family, my husband, and my children to experience unconditional love to know they are seen, known, and chosen. I want to love others with the same love Jesus has shown me.

Because that’s how you reach people.
Through love.

Love people to the Lord.
Let your life reflect a love so deep that it changes every interaction you have.

People are searching for something and many don’t realize that what they truly need is love.

So today, I challenge you:
Choose to love.
On purpose.
With action.
And with intention.

Happy Tuesday Ladies! 🐝

Today we have our next Daily Bread Devotional and it’s from Sis Kassi Waits. She’s here with a beautiful reminder about how we need one another to build the Kingdom of God! 💛

“The Power of Our Hive”

Inside a hive is one of the most unified and purposeful communities in creation.

Every single bee has a role. Some gather nectar, some protect the hive, some care for the young. No bee works alone, and none exist just for themselves. Together, they function as one.

In our homeschool co-op this week we learned what happens when a threat comes to a hive. The hive doesn’t scatter. The bees unite together to defend their home against any enemy.

One bee alone is vulnerable, but together, they become a powerful force. Their strength is not in their size, but in their unity, their purpose, and their willingness to act for the good of the whole.

This my friends is a is a picture of the Church body.

In 1 Corinthians 12:12 kjv it says
“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ”

Each of us has been given a role, different gifts, different callings, but all for one purpose: to build up the body and glorify God.

Too often, we try to stand alone. We isolate, compare, or think our role doesn’t matter. But just like in a hive, when one part is missing or disengaged, the whole body feels it.

Scripture tells us in

1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. “

The enemy looks for the one who is alone, discouraged, or disconnected from the body.

But when the Church stands together? When we pray together, serve together, encourage one another, and stand firm in truth we become a unified force the enemy cannot easily overcome.
