We know... Raising middle schoolers is hard. That's why we're hosting three Parent Roundtables for junior high parents on Wednesdays, August 14, 21, and 28. Facilitated by Middle School Pastor Morgan Holick, parents will be able to connect with others whose kids are in the exact same stage. Ask questions like “When should I give my kid a phone?” or “When should I have the s*x talk?” Plus, participants will receive a book tailored to their child’s exact age. "Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God" (1 Peter 2:16 ESV).

Today, as we celebrate the freedoms we have because of the country we live in, take a moment to thank God for the ultimate freedom we find in Christ. We are forgiven, redeemed, and promised eternity with our Savior because of Jesus's sacrifice and our faith in Him. There's nothing better to celebrate than that!
