Come visit us in the parking lot of Thrive Church till 2:30. We are frying up and handing out free fresh hot donuts in honor of Donut Day this Friday. Get a little history and enjoy the sweet treat the soldiers of WWI enjoyed as they fought the war with love and compassion from the Salvation Army.

We have an amazing community. The tornado that hit Ringle on April 17th, 2026 took many houses and those that only had bits and pieces left, have been left looking for personal belongings. One of those has been work boots in order to return back to work. Thorogood in Merrill stepped up to help with this need.
We thank you very much for assisting these families get back to normal life day to day activities.

The Salvation Army in Wausau is continuing its efforts to provide material and spiritual support to those affected by the tornado in Ringle.

With the recent storms that hit Marathon County The Salvation Army is working with Ringle fire, and Emergancy Management to assess the needs and help the home owners. At this time we do not know of all the needs, as the damage is being assessed now in the day light. Family will be going back to there property to assess there needs as well. Please give the families and emergency crew space and time to figure out what is needed. Monitory donations are highly preferred to help the families rebuild as needs are unknowen at this time. We appreciate all those who want to help but we are asking to please follow Ringle social media, and the county as well as our page as needs will be updated with how people can help and when help is needed. We have a very caring and supported community.

Due to the expectation of a serious ice storm overnight tonight and through the morning tomorrow, The Salvation Army's office and lunch program will be closed.
