We are looking to hire an Associate Pastor of Worship & Discipleship! As River City continues to grow, that title means something specific to us. It means a pastor who leads worship, not a worship leader who occasionally pastors. It means someone whose primary identity is making disciples, and whose worship leadership flows out of that.

This person will serve as a full member of the pastoral team at River City. Not running a worship ministry. Helping shepherd the church, build a culture of prayer and presence, and walk alongside people in the real rhythms of life.

The reason that any of us can do anything for the kingdom of God is not because of how special we are. It’s not because of your family background or how often you come to church or how well you follow Jesus.

It’s because Jesus reached first! It’s because when we were at our very worst, Jesus came to us first and cleansed us. And THIS is why we worship. Because the only rational response to this kind of grace is to bow low before Him!

Last Friday, a group of guys from our family went out to support one of our local ministry partners at the Bridge Street Mission Golf Outing. They had really fun time of fellowship around the golf course and one of the teams even finished in the top 5!

We are so thankful for the work Bridge Street does in our community and we are honored to partner with them each year.
